The President should be declared disabled and removed

Now we know why so many of them resorted to drinking and whoring around. They must depair at the future with a madman at the helm.
It is probably more like they need a break from investigating all the threats against his life compared to any other president in history.

Report: Unprecedented Number Of Death Threats Against Obama -- And Secret Service Overwhelmed

The Boston Globe reports that a new internal Congressional Research Service report and government sources say there are an unprecedented number of death threats against President Obama -- and that the Secret Service is insufficiently funded and staffed to deal with them.

According to The Globe, a report issued by the Congressional Research Service shows that the Secret Service is investigating more threats against government officials than ever before, and questions whether the 144-year old agency should continue probing financial crimes, as was its original mandate.

In total, the Secret Service regularly protects 32 people and arranges security for high-profile events. But the election of Barack Obama has increased threats against the president's life by 400 percent from his predecessor, according to "In the President's Secret Service," Ronald Kessler's account of presidential security. The Secret Service has looked into a number of race-based threats since Obama took office, and a Facebook poll that asked "Should Obama be killed?" President Obama also had a Secret Service detail 18 months before the election, the earliest of any Presidential candidate.

As Bryan Bender at The Boston Globe reports, some government officials are calling for a review of the way the agency is run, and suggesting that some of its financial investigations be transferred to the Treasury Department so the Secret Service can focus on terrorist and assassination threats.

The Southern Poverty Law Center issued a report back in August that found that the number of white supremacist militia groups has spiked by 35% since 2000. The Secret Service has, in turn, increased its employees from 6,700 two years ago to a projected 7,055 in the coming fiscal year, almost entirely devoted to protecting national leaders. But that's a staff increase of just 5.3 percent -- nowhere near the 400 percent increase in threats to the president's life.

Well, the President is absolutely wrong about the internet at least. It simply wasnt made so that 'companies could make money off the internet' at all. That just turned out to be a huge side benefit of its creation, but it certainly wasnt ever the original purpose.

I am sure that was the result of the redefinition of white supremacist militia groups by Eric Holder.

I am pretty sure that there is some legal process by which to remove a man who has lost his sanity.

Because the USA isnt standing on the shoulders of giants ?
I guess the generation which had the great depression, fought ww2 and then rebuilt the US were a bunch of communist, socialist.

As far as gafs (sp?) go this one is rather minor

I agree with the Mobboss
The internet was created for P0rnz.

In a post nuclear war apocalypse, the US military had to ensure that it had access to vital pornography else moral would collapse. (or redundent computer communication as a side benefit)

If it were a gaffe, I would not object. I object because he believes this. He is no longer rational. The pressure of being the most epic failure in Presidential history has done away with his sanity. Or perhaps there are other factors. Hard to say, but he is clearly not dealing with a 52 card deck.

That is clearly the most important aspect to get out of all of this. It isn't that small businesses don't actually create the infrastructure which allows them to actually succeed, or typically do things like creating the internet, which was the intent of his speech. It is that ARPAnet was created to help promote research in warmongering instead of to make private companies rich, which just happened as a result of funding that effort anyway.

You seem to have a real ability to hone in on a specific nit to criticize, while completely missing the issues and not discussing them at all.

4. Use a straw man. Find or create a seeming element of your opponent's argument which you can easily knock down to make yourself look good and the opponent to look bad. Either make up an issue you may safely imply exists based on your interpretation of the opponent/opponent arguments/situation, or select the weakest aspect of the weakest charges. Amplify their significance and destroy them in a way which appears to debunk all the charges, real and fabricated alike, while actually avoiding discussion of the real issues.

And yet you voted for Bush Twice, despite the fact that every day it was clear that Bush had serious uh lets say intelligence problems, evident by the fact that even in his eighth year as US President he continue to make an embarrassment of himself in Public.

Obama's red (blue) meat speech, full of left wing rhetoric for hes base. I view the same way as Mitt and hes speech for the GOP base.

So i'm bad because i'm focused? :crazyeye:

Dont be so paranoid Form. Its all good. And in consideration of your link you cut and paste...who exactly was my 'opponent' in my original comment there?

I think the President is wrong on several things in his speech. But I dont think he needs to be 'disabled and removed' either. Just held accountable next November.

If it's any consolation, Mister Cooper would probably have ruined that thread as well. He's like the new Dommy, but without the redeeming virtue of having even the rudimentary ability to learn.

Sorry to ruin the party, but am I in dreamland hoping for some kind of reasonable critique from the OP of Obama's statement that doesn't involve the usual flowing brushstrokes?

For all I know The Prez IS off his rocker, I just want to be enlightened as to how these quotes illustrate this. I honestly want to know. I feel like I must be missing something that is totally obvious since the OP feels there is no need to expand on his conclusions???

I think he's more entertaining though.

Dommy used his kind of circuitious logic to explain his reasoning that made his otherwise random conclusions less funny to read.

The tact of this thread is absurd. It completely ignores historical examples of how insane heads of state are actually treated. The OP would have you believe that mental deficiencies some how invalidate someone from acting as head of state, but, in fact, such problems are actually celebrated:

Ronald Regan has Alzheimer's in office. Nancy, who was a puppet of her astrologers, made several decisions while Regan was incapable of doing so. He's now the patron saint of the right and has an airport named after him.

Margaret Thatcher was a chtonic woman obsessed with putting gays into concentration camps. And she was the longest serving PM of all time.

Saddam Hussien was off his rocker enough to think he could take on the US in the Mother of All Battles. He was rewarded for his gumption by sanctions that cut off Iraq from the rest of the world for years; sanctions that prevented internal threats to his own power.

GW Bush was obviously off his rocker (who gives Angela Merkel a back-rub at a conference?), yet the electorate put him back in office.

So fear not, OP, Obama shouldn't be removed because he's nuts, he should be reelected!
