Nah, Hollywood makes a good movie every once in a while. Watchmen was good. But most Hollywood movies are indeed bad.
Haven't seen Watchmen. But most of the good movies nowadays seem to be made by Hollywood studios on location, by foreign crews, in soundstages in Britain and Australia. Hang on, most of the good movies in yesteryear were made by Hollywood studios on location, by foreign crews, in soundstages in Britain and Australia. I'm sensing a pattern.

Actually lots are made in Canada now. I guess they saw the "Greatness of Canada" thread.

Why is it that Warlords runs fine on my computer but Beyond the sword wont even go past the install phase and they both have the same minimum requirements?

What would these movies be?

Not sure from the info given. Maybe you could try in the computers section and give more information.

Meh, Australia I could see, not Britain.

Also, why is it Americans seem so distinct from their neighbors in the hemisphere, whereas for all the differences in cultures in the old world, people seem much more likely to travel about, what with all the Europeans going on vacations to like Greece and even as far as SouthEast Asia and such, whereas Americans only really seem to ever go to like the Bahamas, Mexico, or France for vacations, or otherwise in country. I mean, it just struck me a few days ago how weird it seems that Europe seems closer to America than like our neighbors down in Brazil and Argentina and such. Sure there's differences in standards of life that make us less likely to identify with such places, but still.

cultural similarities and language.

i mean look at me, i'm communicating with you in your language and if you insisted it could be communication about the last superbowl or your latest dreadful popstarlets.

in this way europe is much closer to the usa than brazil.

Why do I enjoy starting those long threads??

What, for their inadequacies?

I learnt to knit a few weekends ago, and yes, having the correct thread diameter is important.

I'm not learning to knit, I learnt to knit, about a month ago, on one magical Saturday afternoon, because I had nothing to do!
Can you knit me a beanie and mittens?
