I was taught basketball was invented by Dutch colonists in New Amsterdam using wicker baskets.

Baseball was most likely made by Irish German and Italian children in America, not British.

Anybody but the British! Anybody! Anybody!

With a right hand drive the right hand stays on the wheel and the left operates the gears etc. Since most people are right-handed and the steering is the most critical task it is fractionally safer to drive on the right, with the dominant hand always on the wheel.

Don't you mean drive on the left? Since that would mean the operator would be on the right side of the car.

Doh!

Drive on the left of the road in a right-hand-drive car so you keep the right hand on the wheel.

Editited the origional post.

It's so you can always best judge the cars closest to you, I think. What's an automatic like to drive?
not that much different from driving a manual. you don't shift (duh), and the handling of the gas pedal is a bit different, but that's it.

I need to find someone. I know his full name and the name of the town where he lives (in Spain). What could I do to get his adress or his phone?

Do they have phone books in Spain?

Of course we do, but the phone is not in his name.

Aren't they police? Anyway, if they are trying to avoid being found, especially due totheir job, you won't find them.

An what does that stand for?

He's not a police officer! It's just that with the full name and the town where someone lives is pretty hard to find someone. That's why I'm asking you for ideas.
