Unless there is a pressing cause not to, nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.*

You did set up a data drive as a seperate logical partition, as per best practice?

* 1- Eg reinstall windows.

2- Cookie for the quote.

What's the easiest way to make money while working at home, legally?
Prostitution. Although that might not be legal where you are.

My computer has started acting very strange. I can't log onto Windows anymore. I get to the user select screen where I choose which user I want to load, select one, the desktop loads up and then the screen goes blank, saying I need to activate Windows. It has never done this before. I am slightly weary of doing it, as it asks for bank card details, which of course I am dubious of giving to anyone. I'm thinking I've been infected with a virus.

Unless you're using a pirated OS, sounds like something hacked your registry file. But don't rule out bad RAM too. Bad RAM can do about any thing random to your computer.

Would a hypersonic Tomahawk cruise missile following a highly arced trajectory (climbing into the stratosphere, then descending at a nearly vertical angle at over Mach 5) inactivate (render flight operations impossible) a Nimitz-class carrier? If that is not enough, what about a salvo of dozen?

Which Tomahawk is this, the TASM?

What is the difference in literal meaning between Bunde and Reich, as in Bundestag, Bundesrat and Reichstag, Reichsrat?
Bund is a federation or confederation; in those words, the prefix Bundes- means that the organization is a federal one, as in Bundesrepublik Deutschland = Federal Republic of Germany.

Reich is more general, implying a state of some sort, but is most often used when referring to an empire or to a hereditary possession. Reichs- in Reichsrat meant that it was the Imperial Council.

Because idiotic design flaws aren't exactly uncommon?

A Tomahawk is a subsonic low altitude missile. Assuming you built another missile that had that performance, your real question is whether or not AEGIS can track them and hit them with a defensive missile. It's only going to take a couple of hits on the flight deck to stop flight operations until the deck is repaired. But you still have to get past the 6 or so air defense ships that always surround the carrier.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be an anti-ship missile. The guidance and navigation package will be from a Tomahawk, and the warhead is also similar. What would be interesting is whether a unitary warhead or cluster bomblets would be more effective. The propulsion system is different, to allow hypersonic speeds. The missile would climb just before entering the defensive bubble of the escort ships, and proceed with high speed towards the flight deck and the island. I reckon that it would be nearly impossible for the AEGIS system to track and destroy the missile. Also, such a cruise missile with a unitary warhead can leave a permanent hole in the flight deck and even damage decks below. And if it hits the island, I would say the carrier will not be able to conduct flight operations and coordination of the carrier task force for a long time.

So it seems the consensus is to run a prostitution meet through an internet website, including ads for pr0n, rubbers, and a link-out book-list to Amazon.com for Dr. Ruth's Dummies guide to Sex and other books.

Sounds a little like Craigs.list. Shame I don't live in Nevada.

Where do people get weed from? I don't get how it's so common that it's a daily thing to use for plenty of people, I'd always thought it requires walking into the crappiest of neighborhoods to meet some guy pay a ton of money for a little bit of crap.

Also, where do people get seeds to grow their own? Shouldn't drug dealers try to stamp that out, it kinda takes away their business doesn't it?

You need a guidance package optimized for the type of attack the missile is intended for. A carrier is a moving target, you can't just give a missile a place to aim at and expect a hit. You need the missile to track the target in real time and adjust it's course. There are cruise missiles with a "pop up" feature, but they don't go mach 5 up to the stratosphere outside of the air defense envelope. And it they did, they would be very visible while doing it. The reason for sea skimmers is that they stay below the horizon, and therefore siteline, until they are very close.

A hit on the island would not disable flight operations. They simply do not carry a large enough warhead for that. Better to put holes in the deck. Better yet to put holes at the waterline.

I think two ideas are getting conflated here. A scramjet cruise missile would essentially be just a cruise missile with a better engine. Any terminal phase pop-up would be for targeting. Engine would drive speed and altitude would remain a liability. Long range missiles that use great altitude to achieve vast terminal velocities are much larger and because of the altitudes involved not air-breathing. I dont know if the altitudes necessary for such velocities would make sc/ramjet viable. If it did the carrier-killer missile would have as much in common with a ballistic missile as with a cruise missile, the bastard child of both as it were.

Essentially something comming out of orbit goes about 30 times as fast as an air breathing missile. A scramjet air-breathing missile would be five times as fast as tomahawk, but five times slower than trident (ish).

If you could hit a ship from above at something around the mach 10-20 range would explosives even be the best payload? At those kinds of speeds couldnt a flachette punch right through? A dozen fist-sized holes from deck to hull widely spaced across even a super carrier would be catastrophic. Sink or save it'll not be fighting. Of course achieving the necessary accuracy at such speeds would be fantastically difficult.

It's one of those "a person knows a person" situations from what I've heard and seen... Should I be ashamed that I know that?

As far as the seeds, I have no idea how it actually works, but with other plants if you have a seed-bearing part you can easily plant that. Or if it's the type of plant that can root from just a cutting, maybe that's it.

Like Musekick said, you get it from a dude who knows a dude (then you know the dude, and recommend people you know visit this dude). It's 100% word of mouth basically.

As for the crappy neighborhood part, you're lumping it in with crack. There's a lot of regular people with families who deal it because they need extra cash, and they're far better to go to than the 'hood people anyway. THey're less likely to rip you off, and they're less likely to lace it with Crack/Cocaine (since the 'hood dealers usually sell that too, and it's waaaaaaaaay more profit for them to get you hooked on crack).

As for seeds you can buy them on the internet, or if you get some homegrown stuff sometimes it has seeds in it which you can of course use to grow it. You won't typically find seeds in remotely decent weed though because only male plants (which are low in THC - the stuff that gets you high) contain seeds. It's a competitive business so noone wants to sell crappy weed because people will just buy elsewhere.

Also, most people don't bother growing their own because it's a lot of work, and because you get in more trouble for growing marijuana then you do for possessing small amounts for personal use (if you grow they assume you're a dealer).

And for the record, no I don't smoke pot anymore (but obviously used to).
