Supply side economics appeals to too many prejudices, greeds, and selfishnesses.
The capitalist dystopia is beckoning again. :(

capitalism

can't have too many people getting rich and happy now can we? Better keep everybody equally poor :P

This book I bought less than three years ago. It fell apart and is held together by duct tape. Any suggestions? Images are shown to show the amount of duct tape needed to hold it together (the cover fell apart from the pages)

Some paperbacks are just made cheaper than others. Likely the glue machine that put it together was running low when that copy ran through the machine. Nothing can really be done about it. Just be careful not to lose any of the pages.

Yeah. Except I think this ones more of a case of overuse.

That's precisely what I thought when I saw the photos! :D

Believe it or not, my records are in near-perfect shape still. The CDs, on the other hand...

Either ways, the giant coffee table book which I bought just a few months after this is still in decent shape. But I think thats cos I intended to keep it that way.

I think Ill just see if I can get another copy of the paperback and retire the first one

Copy them onto your Xbox/iPod/MP3 player. I have all of Queen's and Abba's albums on CD, but now I only listen to them electronically.

Ive got digital copies of all the albums on my computer. I dont use MP3 players as I tried one once in a store and the buttons were too small. What I do is I have a portable CD player and I make copies of the discs and take those with me, leave originals on the shelf. It took me a while to figure this out though.

Occasionally, yes, but it's pretty awesome otherwise.

And I guess thats the reason the records are in good shape. Nobodys figured out how to make a portable LP player yet. Even if they did, it'd be kind of heavy to carry everywhere. I think theres portable record players that can do 45s though

How hard is it for an adult to learn how to ride a bike?

Just as easy as it is for a child, but probably with a few strange looks thrown in!

It's really easy. It's 90% balance, 10% confidence.

90% of statistics are made up on the spot, after all. I would however agree with you.

I can't ride a bike. I always tip it over :(
