Why are so many people spelling it as "rasist"?

"racist"

"Racist" must be some strange old-fashioned british spelling. "Rasist" is the typical consensus term.

You're going to have to give far more information concerning what you think is odd there. Because at that level of detail in the picture, nothing is. And when I got a better map of the area, still nothing was obviously out of the ordinary. It is a somewhat straight line. But the closer you look the less straight it appears. And there's nothing particularly unique about it.
That was what I was curious about.
I agree. Is this some sort of joke?
No.

No.

The closer you look the more natural it appears.

Yep, I see that. I was simply wondering if there was an explanation for why it kind of looks like a straight line when viewed from afar, that's all.

EDIT: New question: Are there any cases where a person literally dies, then comes back to life a bit later, and their personality completely changes? If so, how often does that happen, out of all the "die, then return to life" cases?

Random chance :dunno: there's a lot of coastline in the world. There are no straight lines in nature. But some look fairly close if you zoom out far enough to blur the deviations from the mean.

I would blame the circled part on the map on plate techtonics not intelligent design.

Anyway, I defing "southern cuisine" as: whatever your cooking, make sure it is deep fried.

I'm traveling to North Carolina to visit my best friend for Xmas, the first time ever I'll be entering the South. The furthest south I've gone is D.C.

How much racism is to be expected? How fundamentalist are they down there, will people ask me my religion and if they do should tell them I'm an atheist or will I be killed? Does it ever snow? Is the KKK active in North Carolina? I know the state went blue but its usually a red state, should I not tell people I'm from the North? How hard is it to understand the Southern accent? Is only moonshine alcohol avaliable? I know Southern food is unhealthy what should I do?
I know many of the south are racist (like 40% voted democrats or something), but that doesn't mean they are NOT racist. Everyone I know is scared of hell of being black and being dropped in the middle of the south cause you know by the end of the day you'd probably be killed for nothing. It's like a survival game were going to do DND with, aka your party is four black men who get teleported into the deep south and your goal is travelling up north while the whole population is trying to kill ya.

You've been warned. :(

Why is Independence Day considered a bad film by so many critics?

Popular =/= good. There's a lot of stupidity in the movie. It's popular and makes money because it's a good action flick. But the plot and dialog aren't very good.

Racist comes from the word "race" not "rase". What is it about correct spelling you don't understand?

edit: nvm, can be deleted

I don't need to look it up. Or accept illiterate internet slang either, thanks.:D

It's not illiterate when it's deliberate. You will often see the word "moron" spelt "moran." There is a reason for the intentional misspelling. Perhaps that reason is more apparent to you than the reason for the spelling of "rasist." But frankly, all you are doing with your obstinate intransigence is making yourself look thick.
