The CSA have a decent sized army still. If they play it smart they could last a bit longer.

There is in no way any certainty that the United States can or will annex the CSA. In my opinion, the Confederacy has a lot of untapped potential, and could easily turn the situation in its favor if a peace deal could not be worked out.

The same can be said of most nations. I personally think he cannot tap his potential fast enough.

Edit: Just out of curiosity, how many soldiers are in a special forces brigade

Also, the Confederacy was only "beaten", because it was NPC'd. Had an actual player been behind its movements, I think we would be seeing a more CSA-favorable situation in North America.

It also has the added advantage that there isn't much distance to cover once it mobilizes it military. Played right, I think they could have a chance of doing significant damage to the Union.
