The Space Race

Wow, I expected an update, but I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition end!

What's your finaln view of the world look like as you blast off into space and leave it in the dust?

And BTW, about 10 of your screenshots were duplicates of the previous screenshot. :p

 Why won't Photobucket's links auto-copy all the time like they're supposed to? Working on fixing those... edit: OK, think I got them all.

I'll get a World Map once I get Civ3 working again - I tried to patch it yesterday and apparently it was already patched and uninstalled instead :(.

Dude, almost all of your screens are not working in this last update.

Is it working now? I'm not sure why they wouldn't be displaying, perhaps a Photobucket error? That does happen from time to time.

Very much enjoyed this thread. Thanks for the entertainment!

Wow. This wasn't nearly as many pages as your other story Conquest of the World.

But good job anyhow... ;)

Thanks. 1000-post stories, I think, are more of a once-in-a-long-while thing than something to expect all the time. At least for games that aren't finished before the story starts.

And here's the final world map:

NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!!

BTW great victory Quint. A triumph indeed.

I would guess about 1/6th (15% - 17%) of the land area, really.

Oh, well so what!!!!! :p

hehe, sorry. I just like to say that all of quint's stories consist of him conquering a big chunk of the planet, whether it be 1/4 or 1/6. ;)

Yes, all two of them. :p

sweet story! it was really shorth though...too bad.
