Captain Falcon won a coin toss so he can decide the following.
A.) Death match?
B.) Start directly across from each other (ala Mortal Kombat) or randomly in the city.

Metropolis
The Tournament of Champions will take place within Metropolis, a generic megacity filled with millions of people. Key features of the city include
A.) A Downtown Area marked with giant skyscrapers and a rich nightlife.
B.) Twisting alleys which offer a sort of nightlife of it's own.
C.) Sprawling underground network of subways, including tunnels long abandoned....
D.) An alert system lifted from Destroy All Humans.
Wait, what?
Do you think people aren't going to notice a giant metal man or a guy with swords? Of course they will and the police will be interested. Throughout the match, there will be n Alert System which determines the response of the Authorities. You'll find that the system will make your battle all the more difficult if you're not careful!
Green
Normal. You'll see cops in cars and patrolling the streets but they're not actively looking for you (but they will notice you if you look out of place).
Blue
You did something wrong because the cops have been called and they're coming armed with police revolvers and pumped-action shotguns. They're not going to try to kill you right away unless you resist arrest. The longer you're in blue, the higher the response gets until you reach the level of SWAT or until you start warranting a military response.
Yellow
You're going to start seeing the National Guard coming after you and sooner or later, Army GIs and tanks. This isn't even close to being the worst.
Orange
Special Men are sent to handle the problem. Who?
