So I've been wanting to do another story here. I haven't really done much of one since that wacky fluke-of-a-story Into The Future ended, if anyone remembers that. I briefly tried my hand at writing a sort of comedy story, only to realize that this was not at all my style. My style lies more in writing the story of a civilization in a non-gamey history-book form. I am by no means saying I am good at it, but it is more up-my-alley.
But having been a part of both the Pitboss Worldbuilding game and the Dawn of Civilization(both of which unfortunately died out)I decided I'd give this idea a go myself. So, bear with me!
Basically, in this game I will be using the Giant Multiplayer Robot app to host a game where every player writes the story of their respective civ. Each player may write in any style they would like. You can go into any level of creativity you would like. You can write about every detail of your society, just the general history, or anything in between.
We will be using G&K and BNW, and possibly some DLC. I will also be using the Raze Capitals mod to eliminate this unrealistic mechanic. That is, if I can figure out how!
All victories will be off except Science and Time. However, winning is not meant to be the focus of the game. You may pursue a victory if you'd like, but please focus on the story.
Rules:
And please keep in mind that this is my first time hosting something like this. I by no means have the skill and creativity that my predecessors did in hosting a game such as this.

Rules:
Spoiler :
Off Limits Story: At any time a player may choose to make a section of their story off-limits to read by other players. When you make a section off limits, please use spoiler tags and specify that you are invoking this rule. All participants are expected to abide by this.
Canon Rule: The first player to write about something in game(such as land areas, natural wonders, city states, etc)establishes canon for whatever it is they are writing about. Other players must not contradict the first canon writing. When interactions between players are being written, I encourage them to jointly write these interactions so that no one's civ is portrayed in a manner they do not desire.
God-Modding: God Modding(controlling someone else's civ without their permission)is not allowed, unless one player consents with another to allow this. This should not be a problem as long as you keep your GMR password secret.
Monthly Story Contest: Each month, we will hold a vote to decide who has written the best stories during the previous month. This vote will begin on the first day of each new month, with a 48 hour period of voting. Each player will be given five stars to award to the other players they believe have written the best stories of the previous month. You do not have to award all your stars to one player. You may not award stars to yourself. Please post your votes in thread so they can be tallied.
