The Wonder List

Coney Island
Obtained at Electronics
+1 Happiness for every Citizen in this city, 2 GA points

Autobahn/Route 66
Obtained at Combustion
+1 movement on all roads/railroads, 2 GE points

Mesa Verde
Obtained at Construction
+1 Production from hill tiles.

I'm thinking the last one may be overpowered because it comes so early...

2 National Wonders:

Grand Theater: +4 culture per turn and reduce unhapiness by the number of citizens in this city by 50%.

Great Opera: +6 culture per turn and makes your empire enter in a golden age.

I think Mount Rushmore could make another appearance in V, although I never got why it was discovered at Fascism.

Maybe because they have some kind of fanaticism to the ancient leaders and fascism likes to motivate expansions,by using the glory of the past. I think someone else can explain better.

i guess that's as good of an argument as any. it's not just fascist regimes that do that, but they tend to be pretty radical with it. i think they were probably just trying to find a technology that came around the right time, didn't already have tons of stuff on it and people could make an argument for. i think i'd prefer combustion, if i had a choice.

what connection would have Mount Rushmore with Combustion? I can't think in a explanation, because I'm not a master in USA history.

The Berlin Wall: Becomes available at Steam Power. Cannot be built in your own Capital. May only be constructed if Autocracy is adopted. +2 :c5angry: and City-State influence decreases 25% slower. A garrisoned unit will negate the :c5angry: penalty. If captured by an empire that has adopted Freedom, the Wonder is destroyed.

Wow, complicated. I really like the suggestion though.

How about...

''May only be constructed in a former capital (ie, a capital you conquered from some civ). All puppetstates produce 25% less unhappiness.''

Very situational but that's good imo.

just because it's not in this thread yet, they should bring back
SDI: 75% chance of intercepting atomic bombs and nuclear missiles

edit: and i said it in another thread, but mt rushmore can enable war weariness, assuming they don't bring that back as standard. if they do, then it'd probably just increase it again.

Leaning Tower of Pisa
Cost: 600
PrereqTech: Physics
Great Engineer Points: 2
Culture: 1
Free Great Engineer
3 Gold after discovery Mass Media
City must be built on flat terrain

A bit strange wonder that let you build a rather disastrous building providing a Great Engineer to make up for it by hurrying the next wonder building.
It’s still not totally nonsense because of the Great Engineer points and later gold income thanks to mass tourism. It also fills the deserted niche of the lower tech branch where no wonders are.

After hearing the rumors of a wonder dlc, I though I should make a thread to see what wonders you would like to see added to the game. I would like to see...

Parthenon
Pantheon
Statue of Zeus
Blue Mosque
Mont St. Michel
Dome of the Rock
Three Gorges Dam
Giant Buddhas (this would be cool if it had to be built into a mountain side
Abu Simbel
Mausoleum of Maussollos
Temple of Artemis
The Golden Rock
Potala Palace

I know it is a long list but there is so much to add, so put your opinions down

SETI project, Cure from cancer.

Would rather see all of this stuff in an expansion, or be patched in over time (which could happen seeing how we've gotten things like Circus Maximus and Stone Works)...but if it had to be, I'm always a fan of the Statue of Zeus. Partheon can come back too.
