The Wonder List

CN Tower; Unlocked at Mass Media, +5:c5gold: in this City... +10%:c5culture: Global Output... +2:c5greatperson:GE... must be built in a city which has a Lake nearby & a Stadium.

Channel Tunnel; Unlocked at Stealth, Lowers cost of Road+Railroads maintenance by 75%... +10:c5happy:... +3:c5greatperson:GM... must be built in a coastal city that has both an Harbor and a Seaport.

Heh, I don't think American Idol or similar shows have produced anyone that will be recognized as a Great Artist 500 years from now.

Parthenon: Unlocked at Writing. +25% :c5gold:, +1 :c5gold: per Specialist in City where built. +2 :c5greatperson: Merchant.

Reason why I made it base on gold is because Parthenon was used as a storage for gold.

The Registan: +20% :c5trade: income, +4 :c5science:, requires plains.

Opens up Machu Picchu for other effects.

Cern - +5:c5science: +2 great scientist points
World Trade Centre - All trade routes globally +50%, +2 Great Merchant points, +10 :c5citystate: base :c5influence:

I like the idea of having the Panama Canal as a wonder, but not with +200% :c5production: bonus as listed in the OP. That would be massively overpowered. I think instead it could be like a super-improvement, allowing movement of ships over, maybe, two land tiles from one ocean to another, with a :c5gold: bonus as well.

forest spiral: +20 culture (or maybe less), great engineer slot, requires mass media
golden gate bridge: +2 trade routes in all cities, great merchant slot, requires combustion
delta works: +100% hammers, so basically half of the original idea for the panama canal, great engineer slot, requires steam power
imperial archives:
and just to throw poland a bone
zamosc fortress: 25% faster production of military units, great general slot, requires chivalry

i just realized i left imperial archives blank, so let's say that one gets you cheaper maintenance or something. maybe it could even just be a national wonder.

Here are some ideas I've gathered. Sorry if they're repeats:

I don't trust my judgment when it comes to balance, so I'll leave counters up to someone else.

- Hollywood: +8 Culture, +2 Gold, +2 Happiness

- Burj Khalifa

- The Great Sphinx

- The Gateway Arch

- The Petronas Towers

- Mount Rushmore

- The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus

- Dome of the Rock

- The Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa

- The Leaning Tower of Pisa

- The Parthenon

- International Space Station (after Satellites)

Also, natural wonders:

- Petra (Not natural, but neither is El Dorado)

- The Grand Canyon (desert only)

- Mount Everest

- Angel Falls

- Ross Ice Shelf

- Cliffs of Moher

- Aurora Borealis (tundra only)

- Burj Khalifa

- The Great Sphinx

- The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus

- The Parthenon

These are ingame via mods, as are Panama Canal, all other 7 ancient wonders, Blue Mosque, and Three Gorges Dam

there's a polynesian civ now with those as its unique improvement
Ups, missed that.
There was a Siamese civ with Wat as a UB, yet Angkor Wat was a wonder.

True. Would be nice if the Polynesian civ had another UB and Easter Island statues became a world wonder. It really looks like a world wonder.

---------

And I know there are issues about this idea but giving wonders their own tile could help make them wonderful. Mt Rushmoor or Parthenon would require a hill, a river for the Dam and we would see the lake, etc... This would give them more visibility, and they could have a good tile yield.

Nice list guys. What about Hollywood, the Gateway Arch, Angel Falls, Global Positioning System, Space Station or Lunar Base?

Also, OP's list contains Sphinx twice. Just sayin.
