I do expect that in the aftermath of the total and utter destruction of the dollar, which is certain to happen within the aforementioned time frame, and in the aftermath of the general global nuclear exchange which is also a lead pipe cinch, that the new confederate political structure of the next Republic will be centered around the surving red states and habitable rural areas of former liberal territories. This will be the new South.

Not to mention that a lot of the early Labour Zionists were all for having the Palestinians as co-citizens (albeit in a patronising European "for their own good" sort of way), so it's not even particularly representative of the Zionist state as an historical project. Of course it is, your example only led to the Israeli conquests of West-Bank. The point is to show that military conquest - in the way say, the Roman Empire grew - is unrewarding in the modern world. The only reason Israel keeps West-Bank is because it doesn't want trouble with the colonists, which it in turn allowed to settle starting in the 60s and 70s because Israel didn't had a peace treaty yet with any Arab country.

Imagine if Canada would annex the USA and make all its citizens Canadians: Canada would simply cease to be Canada.
