But I had a feeling that EXP gave 3:health: at some stage of its life, though I may be getting this wrong from another poster.

I think you're right, because at some point in vanilla I recall Industrious giving a +100% wonder boost, and this was later when financial didn't give cheap banks.

IND for me, as Wonders are usually a low priority.

Whichever trait doesn't fit the map. Fin for very dry, mostly hills. Imp or Org if you're boxed in. Ind at the higher levels (kiss wonders goodbye to begin with, leaving you just the cheap forges).

I see most people voted expansive...this is a huge surprise...I find it second best after financial and in some circumstances like multiplayer THE best..

Worst would be aggressive for single player..Industrious for multiplayer for me.

Early war is definitely easier with Aggressive. Spearmen come out with CII, promoting to Formation at 5 XP, which can be huge against a horse-happy AI. Less stack D, more effective CG after you take the cities, and so on.

Why are we discussing the traits in this antiquated thread that doesn't even include them all? This thread is from Vanilla!

:eek::crazyeye::lol:

No PRO, CHA, or IMP on the poll!

EDIT: Sorry, just checked page 6 and saw many others pointing out the age of the thread.

People stop voting please! It's an old thread and isn't relevant to BtS. You're only skewing the old results which may have been insightful when we want to look back at vanilla.

necromancy never led to any good, eventually :)
maybe post a new thread with the same question, but BtS-related?
