I have asked him that I wanted to help finish it...but as I understand, Pablostuka will try to finish the He-111 when he is done completing his tank...I think.
Unless I try to make a german bomber myself. :p
But I am too involved in all these foot units :)
Your right, Germany still does not have a cool Bomber in the civ III game. It has tanks, ships, infantry...but not fighters or bombers.

Something I might do soon is the Stuka Fighter (is it called that?).

Anyway, the correct name and Pictures would be needed so if someone would like to help me find any, please do.

Thanks for the update nonnob3.

Grey Fox, Smoking mirror has already made a Stuka dive bomber, if that's the plane you are refering to. I think what we really need is one of the twin engined level bombers or one of the prototype heavy bombers. If you are interested in making either one of those, I'll be happy to help locate whatever pictures or diagrams you might need.

Hi, buddies. Sorry about not replying, I wasn't at home the last days. And tomorrow I have to travel, and I'll be away 2 weeks.
After thinking a lot, I've decided to not to work more in my units. I'm not much at home, and unit creating is a very hard work, and I give up every time I try to work in the heinkel, or the StuG...:( . So I'll post here all my work in the Heinkel. I know that a lot of people are waiting for this one, so, if someone is interested, can finish it (I'm thinking in nonnob3, my "amico Carmelo  ). I'm sorry about not working more in Civ3 units, but it's better for me (and for the people who are waiting my units, thanks a lot for all your support ;) ).
So here are the Heinkel files (note that 3 directions of the default animation are not finished).
If someone has any question, email me to pablostuka@hotmail.com.
Bye!!!

Pablostuka , I will be more than happy to finish your unit :D
It's an "honor".
Thank you. I as many other Civ III players can understand :)
Thank for all your work and support. You have created the V-1 missile which is GREAT :goodjob: and done alot for our THIRD REICH TEAM :D
You have a great and safe trip, have fun, but always think about Civ (just joking ;) ).
Take care buddy!!!!!!!!!! :yeah: Ciao AMICO!!!!!!!!

Pablostuka, thank you for the time and effort you put into your units. As nonnob3 has said, many people, myself included, have gotten a great deal of enjoyment from them. Also, thank you for sharing the Heinkel files so that this unit can take to the Civ III skies.

You could call it Granatwerfer, which is the German word for mortar.
Yeah! - that's a perfect name for a german Mortar!
i'm looking forward to see him!

Something I might do soon is the Stuka Fighter (is it called that?).
There is a quite good Stuka by Smoking Mirror... But that's no reason for not to make another one!

A question to the team:

As you know I'm currently working on 1939 (with Grey Fox's help it will be done faster! :goodjob: ) and the Legion Etranger ...

In the mantime I figured out that Gurkhas are no Indish forces, so I decided just to make a Infantry with a red Turban for the British Indian Forces..
Any ideas for a name?

Hallo Kammeraden,

I want to ask to join the "Thrid Reich Team" ... my english is
average, not poor, but average :D

My Special-Skill ( Call it, what you want ) : German History ... and also i can talk "German" perfectly ( Maybe because i am a GERMAN )

Greets, DaRealStinger

PS. Jeder der Deutsch kann wird das hier lesen können. Hier ist nur der Beweiss, das ich gut und exakt jedes deutsche Wort kann ! :p ( Try to guess ... hi hi ) :king:

1936 war der Name der deutschen Armee noch 'Reichswehr', aber Deine Idee mit dem Spanien-Szenario klingt gar nicht schlecht (Ger. in 1936 the name of the German Army was still 'Reichswehr', but your idea about the Spain-Scenario doen't sound bad at all)

Quiz (without looking into your Database ;)): Which was Adolf Hitler's favourite Hollywood movie ???

1) The Great Dictator
2) The three little Pigs
3) All quiet on the Western Front
4) Popeye the Sailorman
5) Battleship Potemkin

---

Lets see how many know this (oi , no cheating in the back row!)

Mal raten ( I guess )

1) The Great Dictator (NO)
I don´t think Hitler knewed this Movie

2) The three little Pigs (NO)
Nice try ;)

3) All quiet on the Western Front (NO)
"Nichts neues an der Westfront" was from
"Germany" and the US-Version was filmed
after WW2

4) Popeye the Sailorman (YES)
Hitler was Gay. I think this one

5) Battleship Potemkin (NO)
WHAT THE HECK is "Battleship Potemkin" ???

Mfg, DaRealStinger :king:

Frankly W.i.n.t.e.r., really don't know the answer to this, but if Hitler had even a tiny bit of culture, he would have picked Sergei Eisenstein's revolutionary 1925 classic Battleship Potemkim . Of course, seeing as how Hitler hated the communists with such gusto, I'd be really surprised if this was the correct answer.

Everyone should see the Odessa Steps sequence at least once in their lives.

Hmmmm, quite interesting results so far, anyone else want to make a guess ??? I am going to give the answer to the lil quiz tomorrow at noon- :D and then U will know- and knowing is half the way...

So quick, make your choices and pick Hitler's favourite Hollywood movie :)

He DaRealStinger!

Da ich aus Österreich komm, kann ich auch perfekt Deutsch! :D

"Ho Habi di ere, no a Piefke im Tiiem!"

:goodjob:

Welcome on board!

PS.

5) Battleship Potemkin (NO)
A great movie!
It deals about an Russian ship (no idea what kind of ship)!

but i pick "1) The Great Dictator (NO)"
BTW: I think Chaplin was brave to make this movie .. Imagine, Hitler had conquered the world...

I picked this one, because I'm sure hitler would become very angry watching this movie...
It think that would be the perfect "motivator" for his sick speeches!!! :D

Riiiight: the results !!!

Actually nobody got it right ....

Answer 5:
Battleship Potemkin: Thats a negative- Hitler admired Eisenstein's work and envied Stalin's propaganda industry, but as very clearly and cleverly mentioned somewhere above ;) it is not a Hollywood movie but made in good ol Mother Russia.

Answer 4:
Popeye the Sailorman: Nope, I don't think he even knew it, since at that time it did not make into non-US cinemas. Popeye is indeed a cartoon created only to boost sales of Wimpy partners in vegetable (namely spinach) sales.

Answer 3:
All quiet on the Western Front: No again: This movie was a true Hollywood Classic. It had very limited success in US cinemas though, since the public saw it as pro-German- something unthincable in post-WWI united states, where the only thing that mattered was money (or the absence of it in 1923). Hitler alledgedly did not like this movie, since he found it depressing (probably due to his bad experiences during his time in the army in WWI).

Answer 1:
The Great Dictator: Good Heavens NEIN , Never !!! When Chaplin's masterpiece came out Hitler went to see it and was outraged at the character which obviously caricaturised his own figure !!!

---

Answer 2:
The three little Pigs: Amazing, but true. Hitler loved this Disney cartoon a lot and had watched it countless times in his personal theater. He is reported by his staff and even Army Generals to have been walking around whistling "Who is afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" in many ocasions.

:goodjob: Thanks for participating guys :)

Yeah.. That sounds meaningfull...

I always thougth Hitler had a kind of wolf-fetish ...
