shramj,

This pic is from feldgrau.com. I hope it helps.

Edit:

I guess it won't help. I should have read you post more closely. These definitely are not modern infantry.

Ooops!

nonnob3,

You should check that site out. It details the organization of the German armed forces from 1918 (I think) to 1945. Lots of info.

FLASH NEWS
Kinboat is going to help us !!!!!!!! :yeah:
Here is his PM to me:

Re: Kradschützen - Motorcycle soldier

Actually let me look around on the web. I believe I remember a Motorcycle model for moray that was pretty good... I might be able to modify that slightly and add a side car. Then I'd just need to set a default in eight directions and maybe a death where it flips on it's side and you can add the rider where ever.... I'll look into it.

From the THIRD REICH TEAM ------- THANK YOU KINBOAT!!! :goodjob:

(Let you guys know that also Smoking mirror offered to help... let's see what can come out from these TWO BEST Motorized Unit creators!!! ....... I am sooooooo Happy! :D :D :D )

That's great news about Kinboat and Smoking Mirror! Woo hoo! That Motorcycle unit will be cool. What sort of attack do you have envisioned for it?

Here is a few more: :)

The first two depict Modern German Pz. Grenadiers and Paratroopers;

The attachement shows an armored German KFOR Trooper, and a Soldier during manouvers;

This post features more KFOR Peacekeepers and an illustration of Germany's Elite KRK (Krisen-Reaktionskräfte)

I just got a info from Smoking mirror that he will be creating a Motorcycle + side car + rider WW II style unit used for all Civilazations.
Meanwhile Kinboat, I believe, is still making the Motorcycle + side car unit WW II German style and I will add the German riders :D
Wow, now we are going to have two great motorized unit makers making this (in my opinion) complicated unit.
It's gona be something OUTSTANDING! :yeah:
I am happy for sure! :D

Thanks for the picks Winter. When I get my Special Forces unit done, I will be able to change the camo, add a beret that is the Civ colour, and change the gun to a G36. Thanks!

What is the second guy from the right doing? Is that a stop sign?

"Base, Mission Crossguard is in full swing. School is out. I repeat, school is out!"

See, they even pulled somebody over for going over 25 when the yellow light is blinking!

Hey guys. First-- That Grenadier totally rules now nonnob. That's over 100% in my opinion! Absolutely beautiful, like Balou's modern infantry... only German!

Second-- my comrade pulled a funny. Very funny comrade Sween

Thanks dannyevilcat :D,
I worked on it pixel by pixel (and that's how I will do with all units, takes time but well worthed ;) )..... just wait when I will upgrade the rest of my units :yeah:
I am doing my best to make these units the best looking possible for the Civ III game and for all players to enjoy even more, around the world :)

I'm away from the forums for a day and I come back this evening to find that not only has our illustrious Fuhrer created a first class revision of his already top notch Grenadier, but I've been promoted to Luetnant as well.....w00t!

Thanks nonnob. Although I must confess I don't know what I did to merit such an upgrade. However, like a gut soldat, I'll take it run.:D

Jo Kameraden!

nonnob3...
I love the new Grenadier! :goodjob:

I can't wait the Kradschützen!!!!

Guys...

Its called "Leutnant" not "Luetnant"..

WOW !!!! Mein Führer, it looks even better than the Wehrmacht  ... I'll probably use both ol and new versions of it :) as an upgade: They will the obtainable with the same tech, but one will be obtainable without resources (old) and the new one will require some rubber (+?) :D
