I see from the preview .gif that I need to fix that run animation a little bit (get all the angles centered) and I still need to do the death animation. I hate doing the death animations.
Anyone have an explosion sequence I can overlay on the unit?? :rocket3:

I for one think it's a great idea to bestow an "honorary" rank to people like dog, who may not wish to be full members of the Team. You could grant them the title "Friend of the Reich", or perhaps "Reich Auxiliary."

Let's talk about food....
i think you know this sausages called "Wiener" or "Weiner" in the US... They are like the Hot Dog sausages. I'm not sure if they are the same like the European equivalents, but there is a funny story about it..
Vienna is the capital of Austira - it's german name is "Wien". In Austria we call the "Wiener sausages" "Frankfurter" - in Frankfurt - a big german City - and in most parts of Germany the same sausages are called "Wiener". - You see, we call our neighbours like sausages, but not ourself
There are so many differnences in German and Austrian food names.. The problem is that I often don't know the English equivalents. Some other funny storeis can't be explained without understanding german..

Some German friends of mine told me that when they were in AUstira the first time they went to a very expensive exclusive Austiran restaurant. They told me that they weren't able to understand the menu...
They didn't want to ask the waiter, becuase they didn't want to point out that they are Germans... (In Austria we make much fun about Germans and vice versa)Another thing I could tell you is how Germans are called by the neigbours. I often heared in English films that the Germans are called "Krauts" becuase they eat "Sauerkraut" .
We Austrians eat Sauerkraut too (and it's quite good if cooked correctly), so we can't use "Kraut.". We call them "Piefke" - but I'm afraid that i can't tell you what this word means.
Other neigbour like the rench say "Bosch" to the Germans. That's my favourite too
. I think - but I'm not sure - they call them so, becuase there is a big firm called "Bosch" which produces citchen machinery.Ok, I know some other things to speak of, but they are fo the next time

I'm working on 1939 - Das Dritte Reich right now...
I want to use all ww2 units made by the team, becuase the MOD shall be a "Third Reich Team" Production...
Help with unit graphics
* Anti Tank Infantry .... When nonnob3's panzershreck is finished, we could use it as a base model for a non-german anti-tank
* Mot Infanterie ... that could be dog's SdKfz 222 !
* Alpine Troops ... nothing usable yet!
Help with unit implementation
How shall I implement the new Grenadier and the Fusilier / Wehrmacht in my MOD? Where shall be the differences etc.? Any ideas?

to nonobob3.. Could I use your new Grenadier as a base modell for a Red Guard unit? I would paint the gray to green, and I would change the hat... It would be easer and faster than with the normal Infantry.
About the British Indian Forces... I thought I will use the Infantry as it is, and only repaint the helmet into a red turban.. Coul look cool - have to try this out

I have recieved a PM from someone (not a team member) that is "questioning" my avatar.
I don't see any harm in this image. I had for a long time the Wehrmacht with the Nazi flag and no compliants.

LMAO! Questioning? So they just couldn't come out and say they didn't like it? They had to question it? I suppose that's better then being attacked with accusations, though. If somebody questioned my avatar, I'd have to question them about their level of historical understanding and why they have to worry themselves over something as little as an avatar. Of course, if I got attacked some heads would roll.

Most people don't care to take the time to fully go through it Nonnob, they see something that at first impression annoys them and they move from targetting mode directly to attack the object of dissent...
At Microsoft we would put our initials on the contract for filing processes. I had a friend at work with the initials SS... she is actually a non-practicing Jew- her name Sarah Sabri... needless to say that one of the customers complained and wanted to know what SS stood for - an old hypocritical bastard !!!
I would leave the Avatar as is- U are not propagating any political or religious view of the world- don't bother people with any glorification of either war, nazism, etcerism. BTW, one of the company logos I really love is "BOY of London" - The German Eagle sitting on the 'O'....
I am against any sort of fanatism, but equally oppose any sort of hectic activism resulting out of ignorance or puny crusades for morality !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About your Avatar... You know - all Nazi related things are a hot topic... They lost the war and they made defenitely more crimes than others... That's why they got demonized.... Hitler, the Nazis and their ideas were defenitely wrong and bad.
I have nothing against you Avatar - becuase I know what we are doing in the team etc... And I was following all the threads a long time before joining, and so I know that never was anything written which could be interpreted as pro-nazi.
I know that we are only interested in origanisation, history, weapons, vehicles etc... I know that none of us is a Hitler fan, nor does any of us think that they made things right!
We tread the thing like a game - we knew about the things that happens, we don't deny them, and we don't defend anybody... But we are making Civ-stuff! We are creating historical things to make the gmae more fun!
I can understand that some people may be frightend if they see your Avatar the first time. We are all programmed to be frightend and alerted when we see Nazi-things. That's why we will have reactions like them now and in the future...
I just say... It's ok to have a Stalin-related Avatar, it's ok to have a Napoleon-related Avatar, it's ok to have a "el Commandante" Avatar etc... So I don't see why somebody is not allowed to have an avatar where you just see some nazi-soldiers.
