Civ5 copy in hand and installing on my dev machine right now :D

....and with this single thread, we know that Civ5 will be the most epic version ever created-not so much because of what the developers have done with it, but due to the truly God-like modding abilities of TheLopez :)!

Aussie.

Good to know that we have able modders, like The Lopez, onboard :)
I do hope the new modding tools are sg. worthy...

Hey V. Soma, long time! I looked at the tools and they look pretty good... for the regular modder  Considering mod buddy is VS.NET based it really means no difference to me though I love the idea of modding the XML files through what are basically SQL commands. I am really excited to get started once I am done redoing the resource system in Civ4.

V. Soma, hi!

how about roads and lands for civ5? huh ? thats was a long time ago.
you did some extensive planing there.

lopez im chasing you, after youll get some mods to civ5, im coming to bug you with more quotations on how that and that works and merged :)

Oh, man! :)

Yeah I still have the written document for Roads and Lands,
and in some time I will come up with it for some modder (khm, yes, TheLopez, khm :))...

But first I will wait for Firaxis to make a finished version of civ5,
that will take some months (I am optimistic about it, I know).
So, around Christmas time as earliest perhaps we will have a "real" civ5 in hand,
and thus it will be time to start thinking about modding and R&L...

I amno modder, but like to come up with ideas... :)
