Day 231-365, Year 1/Day 1-100 Year 2
The town of Aidos Aovos was consumed by a great argument. It was over whether to build a wall or a strange concept called a "dike." The two proponents of their respective plans refused to make a compromise, and so the Chief did it for them. A small version of this "dike" would be constructed, and then a start would be made on a wall.
The hill next to town was leveled in order to get materials to build the dike and wall, but build them they did.
First to be built was the wooden retaining wall for the dike. After that, dirt taken from the razed hill was dropped in until the cut off section of the Bay was full. It created an incredibly fertile patch of land, and was thus a great success.
The wall, however, was hard to build and no one could see the point of it. Much less got done than could have otherwise.
Aidos Aovos has grown considerably, with a productive population of 30 people, plus uncounted immigrants, it is no doubt time for the town to build more buildings.
