Here where I live, now, is exactly 3 a.m.
Now, I have to work in three hours, and I should be sleeping. Why I am not sleeping? Because I was just a couple of turns before building the U.N.
Well, the couple of turns lasted 2 hours. But it´s ok, I should sleep at least a little before work. But... I... so... wanna... start another game... but I know I can´t, so I came here trying to distract myself... dumbest idea ever... because reading about civilization makes me wanna play even more... I think I will skip sleep this night.

It only costs me a lot of sleep.
Normally i'd go to bed between 1' and 2'. When i do so however, i am too busy thinking about how i can play the comming turns optimally and can't sleep. I then get out of bed, play on till 4AM and am a wreck at work next day

Me too; I get to the train station to go into London and say 'what do you need for right of passage' at the ticket office; no maybe that was a dream; I hope so.
Last night I decided to play just a little bit of Civ before going to bed. It was 8:35 PM. I remember I clearly said to myself: "I'll play till 9:30 PM and then I'm going to sleep". (I was really tired and sleepy).
When I finally decided to quit, it was 11:45 PM.

Someday maybe someone will invent an electromagnetic pulse device to ruin all electronic powered equipment. This device would probably have to change the physics of our world so that electricity could no longer be generated or transmitted. That is probably when I will quit playing Civ.

Joo get off incredibly lightly... when i do that i finally get off at roughly 4am!

Geeezzzz... and here I was thinking that it was just me.. I've rarely dreamt about anything else for months now... sometimes trying to figure out what direction to go next, sometimes, some really strange stuff.. but almost always about c3c...
but at least I am starting to quit for the night at a decent hour.. of course having my wife start to get really pissed at me when I'd arrive several hours later to bed than her was good motivation... you wouldn't want me to have to interrupt a game to cook or clean , would you... lol
