Yeah but SABER is bombing both The Silo and The Igloo. They are also nuking our land forces now. I really see no point in continuing this just so SABER can get a formal win. If this were a chess game we'd resign now if we hadn't already. They are keeping The Silo at population one so we can only make 3spt. This puts us 14 turns till launch. They are now destroying our land forces and that job will be complete in a few turns. No land units means no risk to SABER that we get a leader. They can also then land and we will have only whatever tactical nukes we have in range of where ever they land to try to counter them. They will most likely destroy all the roads so our nukes won't be able to move anyway. They only need capture our capital then it's over. Anyone see even the slightest chance we can win? If not, then can we resign and get this over with?
FREE tried invading SABER some turns ago and SABER sunk their invasion force. I am getting tired of spending so much time on a turn for nothing. I don't want to bail on FREE though. I'll propose a revised message to FREE and we'll see what they say.
For a moment i was considering a brilliant rush-helicopters-full of settlers and workers to the Silo grand plan, but then i realised that they cant be air transported, damm...was a good dream though...
We could however gift a city to FREE and FREE gift a city to us and wxploit the rebase option of the helicopters to reinforce who ever is attacked soon? (i´m guessing it will be us?) providing an instant amount of reinforcements (TOW´s?) in a given location (i´d say the best option would be The Aerie?)...and maybe this will buys us enough time?
Of course FREE would have to agree to change its production and draft some troops (pillaging rubber to allow TOW on the menu after rushing the choppers), but it can be easily done..
