Have you got hard numbers from somewhere? If so, I'd love to see them... I like the way CivIII got more votes with each round, and I hope that trend continues. And I hope you're right about a Civ III vs Diablo II finale!

Hmmm... 3 to 2 margin so far, but it's early yet. Only about 500 votes in. If the first 500 or so votes are 'representative', then yes, it's not looking good for Civ to advance to the Final 4.
Ya your probably right, there is 1 thing that smb3 has over civ. Nostalgia. With 970 votes ahead it seems unlikely that civ 3 will win, its all because other-wise mostly sane people have been sucked into the twisted wheel of nostalgia. Smb3 is a better game in the minds of the people who enjoyed it at its time, and do not have the mental fortitude to realize that nearly ALL the games from that time period simply cannot compare to the modern glory of games like civ3, graphics are better, gameplay is better, EVERYTHING is better, yer people still get sucked into the "for-its-time" mentality.
