Is the Sapper supposed to be like the grenadier unit in Civ 4 and is there a landmine unit?

No, sapper is a siege unit. They have shovels and swords. Some units have torches.

No landmine unit, animation would be too much work for me.

. Still excellent work on these unit packs. I would probably just grab a naval mine from the Civ 4 unit library and use that since I suck.
