I've never been prompted for my password simce we started. I'm playing second and third in a couple of other games and only the one I'm playing third does it prompt for a password. In TGW game sometimes I'm prompted and like this morning...it just loaded????

Are there any interceptions occurring? Strange that 4 attacks wouldn't generate any interception sorties?

Sully;
No interceptions this turn, but there were 2 last turn when I attacked
the Yamato.

this is purely by chance right? isn't it possible to make the rate higher?

Cloner:
The chance of intercept is set at 50% at the moment. But remember
what Misfit said in the HOF game, if the first intercept from a base
fails then no more intercepts will happen from that base. The way to improve
your chances of intecept is by using overlapping CAP from different bases
or carriers.

I don't recall that? Was that stated in Conquests rules Eric?
If that is correct then its also very very wrong. I know of no other combat generator that does that. It is usually a "role of the dice" for each unit within range to see if an interception occurs. Now the more sophisticated combat engines would also factor weather as part of the calculation. Now you know I love these sims for C3C but the limitations really do affect the gameplay....especially AF not being able to be damaged. In reality they were very susceptible to being damaged and put out of action.

Ok I'll get off the soapbox...

Just one of many bugs in the CIV 3 game engine. Here is the link to
Misfit's post, he explains it far better than I did:

Hey guys just a quick note that I took a short notice fishing trip and won't be back until late Sunday. So that means it probably will be Monday when I can send the turn to Eric. Of course bad weather could shorten things too. Anyhow didn't want you guys wondering and I apologize for not getting the turn done before I left. Thanks!
