Battleship Yamato damaged by naval aircraft near Rabaul.

in India, The Bombers continue to pummel the Japanese Forces and a Cavalry attacks the Paratroopers and kills it.


Near Rabaul,
CW Navy attack the SUPER STRONG IJN with Airsupport, however a Lancaster Bomber was shot down on it's first mission ><
however, a Sub did managed to hit CV Zaiko and sunk it.

1 DD attacks a fast transport as will as a PT but both were sunk, and then another DD finishes it off.

CW Infanstry and
Marine Div attacks a SNLF on the moutain, and wipes it out but suffers great casulties. CW inf. KIA

Week 16 - 1942

Kwajalein captured: Two marine divisions assault the island destroying
a fortress brigade, artilley and a torpedo bomber. Then the Navy turns its guns on the IJN;
1 IJN DD sunk by BB North Carolina,
1 IJN DD sunk by CA Chicago and
1 IJN DD sunk by DD Farragut.

Guadalcanal:
Airbase captured, 1 Nip. inf. brigade destroyed. As soon as the base is
secure, the B-17s start flying in.

Port Moresby:
2 Nip. inf divisions on a mountain NE of the city were redlined by
a combination of naval bombardment and attacks by naval aircraft.

Port Moresby:
Thanks to the US Naval Support, Three CW Div. Charged the moutain and routed the two Inf. Div, several casulties by no KIA.

Meanwhile the Airforce and Art. as well as DD fires upon the advancing enemy forces while the defenders dig in.


In India, the Allied Airforce counted one less bombers missing? ( I have no idea)
but the bombing raid continued and while bombard Zeros try to intercept the bombing formations, several bobmers are forced to engage the enemy. Surprisingly probably sheer luck, the bombers all survived and in the process shot down two Zeros. and some continued to bombard the Japanse Army.
The India Corps engage the Japanese forces and KIA 1 Army, 1Div, and 1 Art. a Cav. Brigand follow the attack too but was killed charging the enemy. ><

I took some chances this past turn and knowingly left myself open to some hurt! I was trusting to luck (not always the best strategy) that one of the islands would hold...but to no avail!!

As to the Indian Corps...I must admit that I did not expect an attack this turn. And I have underestimated Air Support for the British...I guess they must have that Lancaster Plant???
But it sounds like the AF is still in Japanese hands???

Now all I need is for Luthor to kick some butt on his turn!

This turn could be significant for the Allies...we won't know until the next Japanese turn.

there is no wonder that auto make heavy bombers, however I was able to build them in my cities
