Update 7

Ta-She-Rameses is completed in Egypt, a mecca for all the wise men of Egypt. Eventually it would grow to where wisemen from all over the Middle East and Africa would gather here (+1 educ (on top the one u paid for), Copper Age). Also, a huge fortress is erected in the only suited passage from Egypt to Palestine.

France expands outwards, colonizing the Azore and Canary islands, as well as making landfall on the African continent.

The Zulu continue to creep northward, finally meeting the civilization of Kush.

The Vikings continue with their initial success, destroying Khaeven armies left and right in their pursuit to Khaev (- Khaeven Army), but what they did not expect was an invasion of their homeland. Khaevens land a small party in southern Sweden, and unopposed, the army takes ground.

But this is not the worst to happen. The vital Petrograd pass is cut off by a brilliant move of Roddinan soldiers. The pass was vital for supplies reaching to Viking armies, but with it cut off, the Vikings are subject to sea convoys. However, with the control of the sea firmly in the hands of Khaev, the supply ships are raided (+1 eco Khaev). The Vikings retreat back to Petrograd and throw their full force at the bronze-age Roddina soldiers, who hold their ground, but still take large losses (-1 army Viking, Roddina).

The Ottomans relocate the bulk of their army to the north to protect the capital and their sultan. The Hellas do exactly what they think they would do, and they dive straight for the capital. Fortunately for the Ottomani, the Ottomani army is superior in weaponry and easily repel the Greek, and even force them back across the Dardenelles (-1 both armies).

Meanwhile, the Babylonians are attacked from a different angle. The Arabs from the south sneak attack the Babylonian capital of Ur, but are repelled over and over again by copper age troops. The arabians instead envelop the rest of the Babylonian empire, leaving only the capital under siege (-1 eco, -1 army Babylon...-1 army Arabia, +1 econ Arabia).

OOC: Reading over the posts, I noticed most of you are whinning that I give little for you to do, being that I write such small updates. That was the point of this nes. I was gonna take myself out of it and do small updates so its not a burden on me, the rest was up to you guys. I stated that I woudl make small updates in the beginning of the NES, perhaps you forgot.

Funky that... I could sense the coming brown betrayal. I am willing to forget about the war now. I am utterly dedicated to destroying Roddina.

Nope but he interferred with a destined war (once you crossed the lakes). He must die, die, die, die, die, die, die now. :)
so you're completely of the hook unless you want to fight me with him

What's to disbelieve?
Roddina stabbed my forces in the back and thus he must now suffer woeful vendetta.

I THINK it's a good foreign policy, at least for my reputation. I'm not like that in real life... =^_^=

And it doesn't help that I suspected his attack, that just makes me bitter (for not going with my intuiton). :)

So... how are things in Khaev?

General Grisha of Roddina was practicaly beaming with excetement.
He had achieved everything he had promised the council, and the sceptics were effectively shut up. Roddina would now establish a trade port on the baltic sea, and they had helped to stop the Viking invasion of Khaev. Now once the Vikings gave up their hopeless war, Khaev could get back to educating its people and Roddina's schollars would be able to study the sea and reach the lands beyond it.
Grisha had overestimated the might of his army, and the casualties were much greater then he expected, but he glossed over that fact, and the Council was kept prety much in the dark about the details of the military operation.
---------------------------

To Vikings
From Roddina

You now have two options:
1. continue to fight a war you cannot win. Roddina's army is supperior to yours and while your whole army is engaged fighting us, the Khaevian army will take control of your homelands.
2. surrender, submit to our demands and keep the future of your nation alive. I dont know what the demands are yet, have to discuss it with Khaev.

Your oppressive government must turn away from war, and embrace education. Your people suffer in ignorance and we aim to remedy that.

Your adversary,
General Grisha of the Roddina Council of Wisemen.

**(oc: I.e. 'I hate, hate, hate you!' (Roddinians))

*Battlestar Galactica (haven't actually seen it)
**Kefka, Final Fantasy 5 (I think)

There it is. There will be no end to this war unless you shaaay, bring me three eco. levels, plug your navy and scrap your army under fire. If that happens I'll be willing not to kill your organization but you'll still have to fend for yourself. Oh, and I'd want your firstborn son as sacrifice and the council will have to dance naked over a pit of fireants. And your entire retinue, court and royal family will have to commit seppuku in front of the people.
And while I'm dreaming you'll be consumed by fire and eaten by a dragon and drowned in acid and and and...

This is the diplomatic equivalent to a slap in the face, or it was before I edited it to this.

(OC: No hard feelings, but I must devote all attention in this game to woeful war vendetta, which is not really all that bad to me - but may easily be to you if noone else intervenes. :))

ouch. up to the seppuku thing, they were somewhat reasonable demands, if you had just nuked my stone age civilization. but starting wit hthe seppuku, i wouldnt even consider your offer.

ofcourse no hard feelings. love being on the recieving end of vendetas. especialy ones i can easily fight off and have an ally who's willing to help cause helping him is the reason i got involved in the first place.
i suggest you take china as your "replacement" nation once the vikings are no more. that way we can later have a war on my other side.

hey, im waiting on my allies, to discuss strategies and whatnot.
