Well 820AD ain't gonna happen. Any bets on the date? I'm thinking that we keep Henry as a life-long friend and get some boats over to Joan's digs after banishing Cathy from this celestial orb.

Nah, Henry will sneak attack us sooner or later...
Major rule of playing civilization - clean your own continent before moving to another.
Let's take Cathy's luxuries and Henry is next.

And adding Henry's ground to the realm will be the last territory for World Domination.

In the end, a largely uneventful set of turns. Finished off Osman, and spent the rest of the time getting an initial railnet in place. Got Silks connected up. I didn't attack Cathy - we may be strong vs. her but she has Rifles (got Nationalism the same turn as us) and her Cossacks will be a threat with their blitz ability. It's a long front and we don't have the forces to both advance across the whole line, and keep our backs covered against Henry if he decides to sneak us.

Neil.

Come on, eldar!
Couldn't you write a little bit more than one paragraph??? ;)
We are learning to play DG level here and it is beneficial for other players to read detailed reports on what was going on.

@Tubby: Go ahead kill Cathy.... Don't wait much for here...
Send all the troops to russia sign MA with henry to prevent backstabbing and clean that part of land. Should not take much longer....
I see we decided not to stop research....
are we going for domination???
Railroading certainly helps but last ten turns was nothing but milking the game.

Ok I had to come into work today and should be able to play later tonight or tomorrow. I also want to finish off all of my rivals in GOTM41. I might have to skip COTM11. I'd hate to do that but time is getting short since the weather has turned nicer.

This is looking like a 1000AD+ win game, so I'm not going to rush but I'm not going to hold back either...

In response to Eldar's short turn summary. We're just pushing a mop around from here on out so, mine might be short too. But I'll try to get at least one screenie up.

Don't be quite so sure. Henry is a little more of a problem than a stain on the floor.

Well I did do a full log of my turns. So if you enjoy reading about building railways and moving troops around, then I'll post it :)

Eldar's right, there wasn't much to write about. I would like a little detail on the silks. IIRC they were solidly inside cathy's territory in my set. Did our borders expand? Or am I having memory failure (again)?

I think that the silks were near a border town. Either the russian city was captured or razed?

It looks like I'm going to be able to play tonight. I finished up GOTM 41 last night and have to get to SGOTM6 tonight too.

Nope, the Silks were freely available. Open the save and look for the town in the far north-east corner.

What I'm wondering is, where is the Incense on this map?!

(If you want a piccie of the Silks, it'll have to wait 'til I'm home - but if someone could open up the save and find it, please be my guest!)

I thought that there was some in old Otto territory....

EDIT:: Yes, just NE of Edrine. Cathy owns it.....for now. Although there are 2 just outside her borders so if war is not immenent then we could plop a town down to claim at least one.

Okay. I was looking in France, the obvious place. Looks like Joanie is lux-less then!
