I heard through another thread that A-K got a big promotion that doesn't let him have a lot of leisure time right now. If so congrats A-K!

Some units might not have been moved. I have a destroyer trailing the Iroquois convoy east of our island. I've seen a couple of Iroquois subs pass by the north of our island. I'm clearing the pollution north of Nicea just for kicks.

Spain is currently constructing 6 SS parts with none complete. We are tied with the Iroquois for parts complete @ 4 per. Both of us are constructing the 3 remaining that are available. This might come down to who has the best production and planned pre-build on the last build. We might have to sabotage production. There are 18 Modern Armor's that we can send to Iroquois land when necessary.

My flat now has a door. However I'm not in tonight. I may be able to play some turns Friday, however I'm currently sharing my PC with my wife as her laptop is in for repair!!

Sure, eldar's wife apparently has a pretty good grip on that computer....

In 1840AD, Spain got Satellites. Stole it from them safely for 3700gp. Sold it back to the Iroquois for all they had, which was only 46gpt.

Then in 1844 the Iroquois got Miniaturization, stole it from them for 3650gp. Izzy had no money at that point, but a turn later our rubber deal was up with her, so I sold that to her for rubber and change.

We built Fuel Cells, Life Support, Exterior Casing, and Thrusters. We're 3 techs from the end: Nuclear Power, Laser, and Robotics. We have over 8000gp in the kitty, and we're making something over 600gpt, so we'll definitely have enough to steal to the end.

Conclusion: we can win this, we just gotta keep up our stealing luck, and time our prebuilds as well as we can. Gulp!

I'll play this evening. Should be quick enough. Build Offshore Platforms everywhere, then start building ICBMs. Build Nuke Plants when available. We have all the Big Bits completed

Could we disband an ICBM to provide shields for a SS part or do they require un-hurried shields?

That's a good question. However the two parts remaining are 160 (Party Lounge) and 320 (Stasis Chamber) shields. Certainly the 160-shield one (Party Lounge) can be built in 2 turns in Connie anyway, and comes with The Laser, which we won't get before Robotics.

I suspect as long as the pre-builds are staggered, we'll have a city capable of completing the last part the turn we get Robotics.

I've just stolen Nuclear Power and stopped there. To be honest, nothing much is going on, though we've lost our spices supply from Arabia as he's running out of supplies himself.

Spain have Genetics, which isn't worth it.

Iros built the Internet.

I did some mining and foresting to get more shields, and to balance food at even numbers. Connie is now at 100spt, more once it gets its nuke plant.
