Also look at the previous terms to see how your predecesors ran the Trade Department. ;) In Term 2, I made a resource assessment sheet, and Zur also made an excel sheet. It was the Golden Age of Trade then. :D

We did manage to drum up enough support for our very first harbour to be rushed in term 2.

It would be nice if those reports could be used in future terms as well as you will be able to tell at a quick glance which civ has access to which resources and how many :). It will take some work just to keep them updated.

Please vote in the Council Vote stated above. It is located here. Thank you.

Sorry Octavian X, i've been at school so i havent been able to attend wednesday turn chats because they are at 9:00am in Australia and that is when im at school.

You're welcome. I should be concentrating more on FA responsibilites though. It was out of need for us, I think. I'd like to encourage the Trade Department to participate as much as possible in a similar fashion, as the Constitution outlines.

Best of luck,

Hello, everyone. I'm the new trade deputy. Recently, the trade department has been rather inactive, and I want to change that. You will find attached a table showing all of our trade deals, and all possible ones. I'd like some input on this, like some ideas on how it should look, what it should contain, and any inacurracies. Thank you.

Note: the file is an Excel spreadsheet.

That table rocks!

I don't think we should trade tech so quickly after trading away flight. Maybe next time or the one after that would be a good turn to sell the next tech.

Were there any more attractive opportunities to sell luxuries? When checking the Horses gift to Rome, I noticed we have a lot of luxuries we can sell them, but I don't know if they can offer much. Any other nations that would like something?

On behalf of the STG, the STG wishes to see some trade oppurtunities to trade our spices. ;)

The President also wishes to see some lux. exports. :D

There is a Council Vote in session for the appointed posistions of BCLG and Stuck_As_A_Mac for provincial governorship.

Here are the trade tables for 1720 A.D.

In addition to this, I would like to ask that the following deals be made at the next chat:

1. sell coal, saltpeter, and gems to the Zulu for 176 gold, 80 gpt, and world map
2. sell spices to China for 2 gold and 1 gpt

The purpose of the latter deal is to (hopefully) better Chinese-Phoenatican relations.

Coal will enable the Zulu nation to build a Railway system and make ironclads. They haven't seemed so desparate to obtain coal, but should we deal it away? Its one of those things that perhaps it is more valuable to us if they don't have it rather than getting the money for it. But they are a Common Neighbour who we've had little conflict with for a while...

BTW, didn't we aqcuire some furs last turn? I couldn't find it in the sheet. Also, weren't we trading for some already? Maybe with Babylon?

I feel that continued ironclad production would not affect Phoenatica, becasue now armies strength is measured more on the power of the unit, rather than the number. Futhermore, railroads would be of not direct endangerment to the nation.
If there is enough opposition to the idea, I won't sell coal.
