As we have completed our rounds with G&K civs and are awaiting BNW (poll later), Hammer Rabbi and I thought you might like to vote on who you would like to see in the July 1st game.

Please vote for the civ, the VC and the difficulty level.

edit - the poll is a public poll, meaning everyone can see how you voted. :)

edit2 - can also post a list of opponents and map type in your replies if you wish. Will take it into consideration. :shifty:

Let's also throw some DLC into the mix. Specifically WotAW, Babylon, Korea and Polynesia.

Map: Sandstorm - Continents
Opponents: Babylon, Korea, Mayans, Dutch, Egypt, Ethiopia, Polynesia and England.

Playing as the Romans and going for a Science victory.

That gives us 3 science civs, 2 desert loving civs, 2 Religious civs and 2 water-based civs. Dutch aren't technically desert loving, but since polders can be built on floodplains as well as marsh, I'm counting them as such.

Not available as a poll option, but:

Polynesia + Culture + Emperor OR Immortal

I agree. This would be fun (preference is emperor). There is a Deity Challenge available but it would be interesting how people that play the TSG/GotM do.

i'd like a domination game with a vanilla warmonger civ on immortal. Songhai, Arabia, China, Japan or maybe America

OK, all you Polynesia fanatics, it is scheduled for another game coming soon. Please can we consider the options available? :scan:

Yeah, Polynesia is TSG65 (the July 15th game) so we haven't forgotten about it. This game (tsg64) is being offered just as a way to play some older civs we haven't seen in some time as well as to use the older rule set (GnK) before the expansion comes out.

If you 'voted' for Polynesia but have yet to in the poll you can still cast your choice.

Does this mean vanilla instead of G&K? If so, count me out.

OK, great to hear about TSG65! that's very rare (to hear a pre-game announcement :) )

We wont be making a habit of this but the process of elimination was just about going to reveal it anyway. And based on voting, TSG64 will be known as well, unless there is a tie.

Or I make an executive decision... :mischief:

edit - to affirm HR's answer, G&K rule set with vanilla civs. :yup:

Inca!

But because they weren't on the list, i voted Siam in an Immortal science or cultural victory (cultural preferably since it's going to be very different in BNW)

Oh and yes, i too like playing with WOTAW. (Wonders of the Ancient World)

Good to hear that Polynesia is coming out soon.

In that case, my vote would be for FRANCE, since the French UA is definitely changing in BNW.

In addition, we haven't actually had any GOTM's with France for G&K. Ever since G&K came out, we've been focusing on G&K civs and a few DLC's, so it might be one of the few chances to play the original France under G&K rules.

Since we just had a Domination game, we shouldn't have another one so soon.

If Polynesia (TSG 65) is Culture, then France can be either Science or Diplomacy. If Polynesia is *not* Culture, then France should definitely be Culture.
