Well guys, it looks like I'm not going to be able to finish this one with you. I leave on a trip for Europe tomorrow morning, and I won't be back for 2 weeks. It looks like we should definitely be done before then. It's been fun!

Brief turn report:-

(a) No more Egypt. Yes we have taken those two island cities too.

(b) FP made. So now we have two functioning cores.

(c) We have one more luxury. Dyes.

(d) We are ready for a War with India.

(e) The Indian city of Karachi has revolted to us.

(f) Our city within the Indian territory is now being protected by not only pikes but even Three Sams. That should give it decent protection when we go to war with India.

There are lots of sams returning from there war with Egypt. Let them return to their nearest city and heal. I have fortified three sams at a choke point. DO not remove them. If you do Otto or India will start populating the territory behind it.

PS. I found that we are still creating Sams from cities without barracks. Sigh. I am speechless.

I will play tomorrow, Basically, let the troops heal and start marching towards India. Has India learned Chivalry yet?

You need not let the troops heal. You already have a huge number of troops ready at the Indian border. However, you may want to wait a turn and position your troops before the attack.

Alrighty then,

I start off by waking Samurais near India and positioning them at our border with India. We have 27 Samurai ready for the onslaught

1. 920AD Position a few more troops and Once again for the 3rd straight round of turns I declare war , India this time. Kalhapur is taken 2 new elites no losses. Lose 1 sam near Jaipur.

2. 930AD India lands settler near dyes colony, I attack and lose, Spear has 1 bar left.

IT War elephant appears near Seoul.

3. 940AD Kill spear with settler, War Elephant destroyed, Jaipur taken.. No losses. Punjab Destroyed!

4. 950AD Bengal is taken, 1 sam promoted to Elite. The other 7-8 cities of India can be burned. Bengal is a good positioning point for war with Otto.
Lose 1 sam at Hyderabad.

5. 960AD We learn Engineering, Education discovered, Great Library is now obsolete.
Destroy Hyderabad, lose 2 sams. Destroy Chittagong, no losses.
I decided since we can learn no more and we have almost 5000 gold to turn the science slider to just 10% for invention

6. 970AD Build Gem, Spice and Wine colonies. Positioning troops.

7. 980AD More palace expansions . more troop movements

8. 990AD While attacking Madras, we get GL Hirohito
Madras destroyed.
Sending Hirohito back to seoul, I think we should make a SAM army. The only other option right now is Sistine and we only have 4 cathedrals, so....

9. 1000AD Osman is demanding our TM and 100 gold, We can destroy him while finishing off India, so I tell him to shove it.... He declares war[dance] , I'm liking this war stuff!!
Bombay destroyed, 1 otto pikeman at a chokepoint for them is killed. Sams are on the outskirts of ottoland.

I stopped here to even turns out, The game should be over soon

Alright, five turns in. We have destroyed India. I don't have a Great Leader pic for you all, mostly because we didn't get one. bz, do you think you can finish the game before the end of today? I am leaving for a week's vacation tomorrow.

how much damage have you done to otto? hopefully bz can finish them off today, I really don't expect to see the game come back my way again

Conquest is probably the best way to go at this point.

I'm really sorry, but I couldn't finish my turns due to my needing to go get ready for my trip and also to fix my grandfather's computer very shortly. I will post the save of the furthest I was able to get to and a picture of a very noteworthy event...

I used him on the army that just took Iznik as of the save.

I'll see you all in about seven hours. If we haven't won, I'll be very surprised. bz, feel free to play an extra few turns to finish the game . Also, make sure to get a save of just before we win. Good luck! May the RNG be with you.
