[TSL] Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack

Chereo! I have exactly the same problem of Montijin, I have tried adding a custom civilization, I've added the start position and it still doesn't appear on the list of the custom map, even though it appears on the normal game to select the civilization.

I just started the standard size earth map. I hadnt seen it before so the tilt seem weird at first but after playing it I liked it. The only problem I have is that it only allows for 6 city-states. Can we get that increased? I'd like a fuller world of smaller powers.

I was also wondering if you guys could add some of the city-state extension mods to this so you get more variety in real world city-states. Any of that stuff would be great. thx!
 
It should be.

It's just civ5 MP that is not compatible with mods at this moment.
 
I don't remember if I've set the CS TSL for other maps than the giant earth. I guess I didn't.

Does anyone that know how to open a map in WB and how to edit XML files want to help ? :o

The WWII mod is a time eater...
 
See OP, Customize section, it's XML editing for CS placement. You can have 29 CS when you use the 34 civs DLL.
 
Copenhagen was removed by one of the patch IIRC.

The first CS mod for YnAEMP put it back in game, not the G&K version.

My logic is a bit technical, we are limited by the number of CS the game loads at start, (41 with normal DLL, 29 with the 34 civs DLL), so I chose to not add CS that may be duplicate of majors from DLC and would be taken in one of the 29 CS randomly selected by the game (I haven't checked if we can select them before loading in the DLL, but I fear it's in the exe), just to be discarded after loading by the mod if the corresponding DLC civ was selected, leaving us with 28 CS while a completely stand-alone CS could have been taken by the engine if there wasn't duplicate cities in the first place.

Not sure if that clear, so let's just say it's a difficult pro/con decision I've made.
 
IIRC there are 55 CS from which the game randomly picks 41 (or 29) when you use "Ynaemp City States for G+K" and still around 30 if you use it at the same time of "Ynaemp only spaced CS for G+K"
 
if there is a way to set all them city states up on the huge map that I can do myself. I just dont no where to go to place them. On the V.17 MOD I know to go to the XML folder in the MOD file but for the 34 DLL, I am lost with it. Any details would be appreciated.
 
It's still on the same place:

The DLL has nothing to do with civs placement, that's done by the main mod.
 
hmmm but if thats the case then nothing should of changed then. The XML hasnt changed in the mod from before. if i use the map with city state V.6 then i have all my city states but if i use city states g&k V.1 then i only get 2 or 3 states. it seems it has to do with the city state mod. ill keep messing around with it
 
Because the CS coming with the G&K expansion are not set in the XML for any maps except the Giant Earth. Those are mostly news.
 
so is there something i can do from here or will you fix it at your end then release an updated version?

OP, Customize section? dont see that anywheres. sorry for being such a pain about this. its just my favorite way to play this game
