Turn Discussion

*Wonders how long the above posts will survive the disapproving gaze of the mods...*
I'll let them live, this time.

Moderator Action: Good natured ribbing is fine, don't let it degenerate to full fledged spam please.

Maybe it's you that has the different game version, Niklas? Hard to tell without other people logging in when either of you are logged in.
Several other people have logged in and out while I was logged in without that message, so I would think it's not me. But of course I can't be sure. :crazyeye:

Wow, not bad - teams 1-4 done in just over 5 hours!

Not sure what you guys are smoking... Team one took about half an hour to play, but team 2 took eight and a half hour to play and team 3 took another five hours to play...

Also not sure why you post in the wrong thread...

ahh, too much mulled wine

That was one silly fast turn...

I just saw team two were logged in. I didn't want them hanging around waiting for me to end turn, that was all.

See how considerate we are in Kazakhstan?

what ARE they discussing each turn?

There is a lot to discuss, and we are spending a lot of the time between turns discussing, however since it takes a while until the turn comes back to us we don't need to hold up the game too much(though it certainly have happened that we've held up the game due to discussing something furiously).

All it takes is one person who has a really different idea of what to do.

We've also been fortunate, in that we haven't had many arguments about what we should be doing.

Why does that mean you are fortunate? More ideas is always better as long as you can select the best one. There are several things we have done that i might have missed if i was playing alone. Yes having a couple people with a very good sense of what direction the game is heading in, is good, but the point of this game is participation, not to play solo...

All the other teams use the time the Mad Scientists leave for us to discuss their moves, which lets them make their move quickly when it finally comes. One team has to be the brakes! ;)
