Ugly, I can always go outside with a brown paper bag over my head.
Oh, sorry, I broke the rules of the hypotethicals again, ofcourse I would be so ugly that even a brown paper bag wouldn't cut it (as you cannot cover the smell either)...
Still, I'll choose ugly. Ugliness bothers less other people than smell. Or if there are people whom are bothered more by ugliness than by smell, they deserve to be bothered....
Ugly, I think it's still more sociably acceptable, because you can't help it. OK, in this hypothetical you can't fix it, but almost nobody would know that. They would think you don't go to bath/have a shower.
smelly..... easier to fix..... if you couldn't fix it, I think it'd be easier to breathe through my mouth than not look at them (depending how ugly they were)
Ugliness; you could do the whole Doctor Doom or V or Phantom of the Opera thing. Plus, people tend to be put off more by smell than looks, so looks is a plus.
Ugly. I get tired of too much attention from strangers. This way I can avoid that annoying attention, but at least the person who I actually am with (and presumably loves me despite my ugliness) won't have to tolerate stink.
It is easy to have rose-tinted glasses, but not a potpourri-laced nose.
