Adds a Map tab to the Religion Overview popup (click on the Faith counter in the top panel)

Displays the known world and the spread of religion across it.

Useful for finding "enclaves" to send Great Prophets to (or just to massage your ego ;) )

Also adds a Number of Followers column to the World religions tab and includes the "UI - Found Pantheon Button" mod

Colours are close approximations to those used in the "Colored Religions" mod

Alters the core ReligionOverview xml and lua files, so will be incompatible with any mod that changes those

any chance this can be uploaded on CFC

Not until CFC has a functioning SOAP/REST API for uploading/updating files and associated metadata

Would be cool if you could you do variations on this for political and nationality. Besides being able to peek at the code you'd use, I'd probably prefer this way of looking at it over the overlay style.

Basically, you'd need to duplicate the mod, find something to hang the map tab off, and then change the logic that determines the colour passed to ShadeCity() in the ShadeCities() method.

But ... not sure what a "nationality" map would achieve as it would just be a larger version of the minimap.

And how would you determine "political"?

The MiniMap is fine for a quick referrenc to realting a position say, but too small for investigation in my view, so I like being able to bring up a world map. So yeah, a political map would just be a bigger version.

Nationality would rely on added aspects from mods like Cultural Diffusion that result in a map tile having more than one value. Ok, these will eventually flip dependant on their values, but a high value below that point could be shown as a darker colour of the civ in question. Or something along those lines.

I guess it depends on what other aspects are in play, but I'm working on the idea that although an area, or city, may be politically under one definition, their ethnicity make up could appear quite different. Etc.

Apologies for a waffled reply, not long awake :-S

It changes both ReligionOverview/xml and ReligionOverview.lua (why they didn't code these like the DiploOverview screen is beyond me!), so it'll be incompatible with any mod that also changes these. Easiest way to find out if a mod changes those files is to look in the .modinfo file

I searched the Steam Workshop with the search terms: "UI - Religion Spread", and I didn't find the mod there. Is it on there? If so, how do I find it? If not, would you please put it on the Steam Workshop?

a) No
b) See the link to my web site in my sig - just after the bit that reads "All my Civ:V mods can be downloaded from ..."
c) Never

Hi Guys,

I was unable to find the mod by clicking on the links in the authors signature, so I managed to find it in google after a while.

For those of you looking to download this mod you can find it here.
