Yes, like I said, in North America there are tribes that will fight to remain independent.
Also, the Caribbean is a pirate's haven, and will produce fleets etc.
Sorry guys who've taken American nations, but I've already given you incomes that compare favourably with European nations, and the European nations will have to fight those tribes as well if they want to take any American land, which is exactly what you don't want I'm betting.
Anyway, those armies will not attack(unless I decide that they are to become rogues, but I'll tell you before I let that happen). Only pirate fleets and their cargoes of armies will attack you, and not for a while yet.
Also, the pirates cannot be bought for a while - they hate everyone at the moment.

UK, could you give us a worst-case scenario of what a pirate could do? A militia could fight them off if they actually attacked a province, right?
Anyway, I neglected to mention America in my diplomacy for this turn: I don't claim any land in NA since the nations already there can rule the land more fairly.
Also, I would like to sign MPP with my friend the President of the USA, and wish to inform him that the French people are busy building a gigantic Statue of Liberty to celebrate your independence and debut as one of the free nations of the earth...

Troquelet: Pirates attack just like a normal enemy does, with one difference. They just raid it(kill all your armies there, destroy any improvement there and then run away again), and they only succeed if they have enough forces. Most pirate fleets won't carry more than one or two fleets.
Plus, this is only when they become active. For now, they're just happy defending Cuba.
And by the time they become active, they will be up for hire to the highest bidder. So if you want a tactical raid done, just ask pirates. Also, they will accept protection money of about 5 credits.
Finally, the pirates will attack unclaimed province(the change will be shown by a town hall appearing in them(which I forgot to put in Cuba). These provinces generate 5 gold per turn for the pirates just like for you, and they don't have to pay any upkeep.
I know this makes the pirates deadly, but they are supposed to be a threat. Also, for now they will remain nice though.

France opposes the changing hands of any more land, Italian or Swedish, except to return the Italian capital 29 to Libya to whom it rightfully belongs because of the Libyan blood spilled to take it. We think Britain (along with France) is following the sensible path of peace after too many lives have already been lost. Besides, if Russia couldn't take any land when Sweden had to contend with Britain and Prussia as well, Russia certainly won't be able to seize any now, when Britain has dropped out and a simple fleet can stop any Prussian invasion...

Oh, of course, you could also count the new territory gained, which would be the 6 gold per turn for France, 3 gold per turn for Libya, 3 gold per turn for Spain. Spain will recoup her losses in 1 turn, Libya in 9 turns (BUT, a mere 4 turns when the capital is returned peacefully), France will recoup in 2 turns. In other words, the war was useless in the 1st place even for those of us who gained something - for as long as this NES lasts we'll be paying war debts...

We have offered the Libyans 15 gold to build a barracks to replace the loss of Rome, 2 gold per turn after that, a MPP to Libya's benefit, a right of passage and Province 28! Yet they refuse peace!
I will gladly accept peace with Russia, France and Britain(if they've offered yet).

ITALY (and Chris): I have already sold you peace at 4 gold if you remember.. it's a post here somewhere. The 4 gold should be paid in 1 payment, next turn. That leaves Italy up to 11 Gold to spend on other tributes... unless he wants war with France to be re-commenced. Which, I don't.
Anyway, Libya has promised the Italians their religious freedom, just as I have promised religious freedom in all my lands, not just the Italian conquests. So, nothing to worry about there.

And your claims are extravagant regarding the defeats you suffered.
As a country who have send many fellows soldiers to death , I urge you to make peace now. This bloodshed must end.
