What do you mean Canada and Greenland are yours?I don't think you have a right to claim half of North America for you.We will allow you to take 6,7,8,9 and 10,but if you dare to take any more territory there will be war.
 
A bunch of lies and slander. France does not enslave Indians, France is one of the sole countries on earth who acknowledges the equality of all men before their Creator, besides Britain, Libya, USA, and Spain... France has NO desire to claim lands in America, where the rulers of France will be out of touch with the needs and wants of people 3000 miles away. Ridiculous. Louisiana belongs to the CSA and it will STAY with the CSA.

Still, go ahead and ally with Russia. I suppose the real reason behind this is, when the RAP invades France, you'll have an excuse to try and conquer my MPP ally America. Is that it? Or are there some still more devious plans that I'm not aware of?

Once again, FRANCE DOES NOT WANT TO MEDDLE IN THE AFFAIRS OF ANY OTHER COUNTRY.

Since YOU ALL SEEM TO DOUBT MY MOTIVES SO MUCH, here's my plans for the next billion and a half years.

France will become the richest and most prosperous nation on earth, without supporting a single army. France will build up an enormous gold reserve. Then, if anyone dares to invade sacred French land, 45 armies will immediately be summoned to destroy the invaders. France is perfectly capable of desroying Europe, by using these same 45 armies, because we are the largest and the wealthiest nation on Earth. Even Turkey, who is the only nation as large as us, has an income which is less than half of ours, because his nation is not as developed and must support more armies. Spain, slightly smaller than us, is no threat, since relatively friendly relations exist between our nations.

So, we could abuse our power as the largest nation. But we won't because we've seen the ravages of war, and we want peace IN EAST, WEST, EUROPE, AND AMERICA FOR ALL PEOPLE. IF, HOWEVER, FRANCE SEES AN UNFAIR AND IMPERIALISTIC WAR BEING WAGED, and IF FRANCE IS CAPABLE OF INTERFERING, France WILL INTERFERE.

Now Russia, the war in Sweden is an unfair and imperialistic war, because nobody wanted to invade Sweden but only prevent Sweden from invading Denmark, but fortunately for you France is too far away to interfere. But we'll be keeping an eye on you, and your little RAP.

Here are some wars WE WILL INTERFERE IN: Any invasion by any country of Britain, France, Spain, or Libya. Don't say we didn't warn you.

USA: since affairs in North America are so tangled at the moment I am withdrawing my offer of MPP with you. France won't get tangled in the affairs of North America especially when so many nations there think France wants war with them. The Statue of Liberty has been finished and is being sent to you as we speak.
 
King Ferdinand of Spain, Abu Bakr of Libya, King William of Britain: France wants to join with all of you in a DPP (Defensive Protection Pact). This pact would read: "If any of these countries (France, Spain, Libya, England) are invaded, all the rest will come to the aid of the victim and unconditionally declare war on the invader, or face the +3 bonus for betrayal."

This would re-affirm the French pledge to come to the aid of all Western Europe countries invaded by internal or external enemies.

Note: France will not come to the aid of countries who do not sign, of course, just as countries who do not sign need not come to the aid of France or other signers. France is capable of supporting 45 armies, all of whom can be summoned in 1 turn's notice and supported indefinitely.
 
PS: If you sign, please state your military capabilities like I did. That is, 5 armies for every province in your country (we'll all be building in our provinces soon..)
 
With the support of France I would like to take control over Switzerland.
This would a rule with a system of govement the same as France.
We hope we could be invitied to DPP (so we are not eaten up by Prussa or Austria)

OOC this my first real NES so I could learn as well as get involved in a NES i follow.
 
To All North American Countries:

Russia wants nothing more than peace. But, we also do not wish to become tied up in a overseas war. We will sign NO MPP with ANY American Civ.

To Frace:

What makes you think your the only nation to build up an economy? Russia will also disband most of its army after The Swedes surrender.

Sorry, Switzerland is NOT for sale. It is part of France proper, and anyone who takes it will be at war with France, as much as if they'd taken Paris.

However, feel free to take Italy or Canada neither of them have rulers I think.

Sorry Revolutionairy, there currently is no room in the UKNES2(there are no declarations of independence in this NES like there was in some others).

You can put your name on the waiting list for countries though, and you'll get one as soon as one becomes available(probably when either someone resigns, or I create a new expansion like I intend to do soon).

Canada is NOT free, as Pachy has been invited to take control of it as WTE_OzWolf didn't reply to his invite. If he is on holiday or something, then I'll put him on the waiting list with Civman and IceEye.

Italy isn't a good nation for anyone to take at the moment, from the orders I've seen, it isn't going to last a turn.

Anyway, like I said, there is a waiting list for countries, if anyone wants to join the UKNES2, please PM me and I'll put you on the list, and if I get enough I'll probably make another expansion soon.

Lybia post-war politic :
I will disband all but four armies to maintain order on the annexed Italian's lands. Lybia will also disband his only two fleets. I will also industrialize my country to catch the European nations in terms of income. But, like France, Lybia could summon a large army in one turn and will honor any MPP made (Spain - Britain - Turkey - France).

To the north-american nations :
Lybia won't interfere in your affairs as long as you don't interfere with mines. I also haven't any willings in colonizing your continent.
But Britain has a MPP with USA and Lybia will help, at least economicaly, in a war undertaked against this new free nation.

To France :
I greatly applause your decision of demilitarizing. I will follow your steps in this case. I also confirm our MPP, even if he has been quite destabilized in the last monthes. But we must stay united against the RAP threat.

To Russia :

I hope that if you are encountering any new defeats against Sweden, you will come back to reason and do peace with her.

To Austria :
We don't have any willings to invade your country. I will only leave 2 armies in province 31, especially to maintain order in this annexed land. I propose you a Non-Aggression Pact (OOC : Uk, can you take this decision while Poto is missing ?)

To Prussia :
I don't want war with your country and I hope that Russia won't bring you in her imperialistic alliance. I would also like to know your position toward Russia.

To Britain and Spain :
Hopefully, this war will be finished very soon. I also welcome the Napoleon's proposal of defensive's MPP with us.
 
I can't really accept any deals for Austria, but I promise you all that while I am making sure Austria's borders are well defended against any threat, that I will not be undertaking any offensive actions unless the Austrian alliances demand it.

For now, Austria will leave only 5 armies in 33, a small number compared the amount in provinces surrounding it.

Damn. Problem with the American map. I've updated Europe, but I won't post the update until America is sorted.

The problem is, I saved the map as a bitmap. Then when I was fiddling around saving as jpgs to use here, I must have accidentally saved the bmp file as a jpg as well, cause the easy to fill with colour areas are gone, replaced with blurry lines.

Anyone know a way I can change it back without redoing the whole map?
