Civ2 you would only get to play if someone else drops out butall you need to do is be online at the time that will be arranged. Do you have an Instant Messenger like ICQ or AIM, you need it to speak to us before the game and to get the hosts IP.

BTW, we need to all agree on a time again. Anytime Sunday (after 12pm EST, 5pm GMT) is fine by me.
due to a personal matter i wont be able to play sunday... i hope this wont cause too much inconvenience, however as i noticed, there are already some who would love to play for me instead

We spent over an hour getting started because of some connection problems and only ended up playing out about 450 years (not alot in pre-AD Civ time). Everyone still has pretty good chances if you'd like to get back in next week.
To simplify everything we will have GenSwartz host (if thats ok by you, genral) and I will post the IP address on this thread so we're not all blundering around ICQing each other.

Well this isn't going well, i got screwed over a few turns by the AI and it messed up big time but i've got myself back track with two new cities. I am planning expansion but where to?
Anyway I may be small but thats cause of my dodgy start on one of non-start islands. The Sioux and Spanish seem to be the best off because they started on the Main Island with more huts and resources.
Somone also reported losing a city to the Barbs
and Narz uilt the Pyramids not much else exciting happened however i am beginning my usual turn of the millenium expansion so the others should look out for my Triremes.....

I just remembered, I will be out of town Sunday 
I am leaving Thurs. afternoon and won't be back until Monday. I guess the Babylonians will be AI next Sunday. I hate to entrust my precious tribe to the limited bits and bytes and set routines of the Civ II Artificial Intelligence but alas it will have to be.
Thats alright, I look at it as a challange for when I get back. I got a pretty good position so far, how much damage could the AI possibly do to me? (I should've ask) So carry on bravely without out me everyone. And don't be too hard on my robotic stand-in or there will be hell to pay the following Sunday! :vampire:

Hi gang....I have a big problem. I am offline indefinitely. I am posting this from a friends computer. Therefore I will not be able to host or play this sunday, or for the forseeable future. I hate it, but it is out of my hands for now. Hope to see y'all sooner than later.
