And yes, I forget the female option, I guess they can vote other - and if you're a male and you wear a thong, well, "diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks" I guess.

@ Plexus, Xen: True. That's not the original reason I switched - my parents just bought them for me when I was at a moderate age and I found them MUCH more comfortable - but it is one great advantage. Briefs tell...a little too much to the world, if you know what I mean.

Whenever I did athletics, it was always briefs....for obvious reasons.

Now....I just burned all my underwear....and half of my pants for that matter.

Hey, why do girls wear thongs so regularly...not that I notice

I mean, guys don't really care either way, to be honest. Is it a girl social thing, like "to be cool" or what. Again, being honest here, it's not the underwear so much as the tightness of the pants (lowcut or whatever they are called are NICE!).

BTW, boxers, plaid currently, often with fun little shapes/designs...it depends.
