The CS bonus is the only reason why people play creece. Byzantium's ability seems a bit boring and passive to me.

The CS bonus is the only reason why people play Greece.

So we will just ignore the 2 awesome Classic age UU they get?

The Netherlands - Dutch East India Company - 0 Used to be good at the beginning of the game when you could sell all luxuries for a lump sum and still have some happiness to work with but limiting lump sum trading to DoFs really nerfed a UA that already wasn't that great. I can't figure out why they didn't get a little tweaking when the trade system was added. Extending the range of cargo ships similar to Arabia's caravans or something small like that.
The Ottomans - Barbary Corsairs - 6
The Shoshone - Great Expanse - 26
The Zulus - Iklwa - 23 Even though I think Furor Teutonicus does save more money on unit maintenance it's still a pretty decent savings and the increased speed for promotions is just fantastic, it works really well with their UB.

The Shoshone - Great Expanse - 27 + I love having a big empire. I prefer peaceful expansion and then defending that and the bonus is good for that while the extra tiles let me have fewer cities which helps in BNW with the same amount of land.
The Zulus - Iklwa - 23
Venice - Serenissima - 12 - Couldn't stand only having 1 city. And why do you need that many trade routes from 1 city anyway? Easy plundering

Do you only play on quick pace? I have been on the receiving end of a Greek Classic era expansion and it is not fun.

Most AI's are strongest in the classical era. The unit spam they get in higher difficulties can exaggerate how good their UU's are.

The Maya - The Long Count - 19- The Mayan ability seems quite weak. It only starts in the medieval, and gives you a great person infrequently.
The Ottomans - Barbary Corsairs - 6
The Shoshone - Great Expanse - 27
The Zulus - Iklwa - 23
Venice - Serenissima - 13- The ability seems OP as you have no additional culture cost, tons of money and immediate National Wonders. I get why players that play simply for war wont like it because you can only build units in one city, but you can always buy them with the ton of cash you have.

Arabia - Ships of the Desert - 22
Assyria - Treasures of Nineveh - 22
Austria - Diplomatic Marriage - 8
Why play Austria when Venice can do the exact same thing but without having to be an ally first and loose all the money you invested in a valuable city state PLUS have twice the trade routes and the ability to buy in puppets? Coffee Houses? Not bloody likely.

Sweden - Nobel Prize - 20
The Aztecs - Sacrificial Captives - 20
The Huns - Scourge of God - 7
Even if you never go to war with the huns, you're still getting a free tech and extra hammers from all your pastures. This is much like Japan's UA in that it makes you notice that there are more pastures on the map than you previously thought. People make the mistake of thinking that just because they're the huns, that you need to win domination with them. Not the case. The Huns are better as a peace civ than most of the others on this list due to what is mentioned above.

Voting Babylon up for science, probably going to vote some other guys up next time since that puts them over 30.

Setting up the Ottomans for elimination. I'd rather have England's UA on a water map.
