this is getting harder as there are no bad UU's on the list. all are good in some way.

I think a lot of people are "opting out" for this reason. I've voted only once in this thread, just can't bring myself to ding a good unit. (And even the Arab camel archers have given me trouble.)

+1 to Oda's bushido samurai,very worthy opponents.

I think the Indian elephants may be a bit weaker than the others at this point...damn, it's all situational.

Whatever, Janissaries are going to win anyway. Let's keep the Mandy's in a while longer...

You should highlight your changes

sorry, was in a rush today, not much time to spend on the forums. I think extra healing any where, any time beats an offensive full heal. Unless you're fighting an opponent that is near death or an era earlier unit the most you'll get is about +4-6 health from the heal consistently. OTH Immortals will always get +2 health per cycle min, and more with a medic nearby.

And to top it off, you can leverage the unit far sooner than the Janissary, giving you a bigger advantage that will snowball through the game.

no spite. I have nothing against Legions, (they aren't great) but I have everything for the Janisaries. not to mention lordsulya copied vexing, so I copied him.

though, looking at the list, it is the worst of the ones left.

I disagree about the Legion, but I do apologize.

Difficult. None of these are bad, per say. Though I honestly had to flip a coin between Immortal and War Elephant.

Keeping the Longbowman fanboyism though. +1 range is just hard to beat. Unless your city is surrounded by forested hills. Then you've got other problems.

heal jans, hurt legions. Maybe it's just the way I play, but I get little use out of swordsmen. The upgrade to longswords comes so quickly, and since the legion has no upgradable ability they aren't very helpful. And the road building ability, while cool for historical context, is a joke. Anyway, the extra strength is nice, but I don't see why people are in love with them. They're gone in a blink.

Immortals are honestly not that interesting at all...I've tried using them and failed epiclly. Healing Mams, they're just awesome. Samuri are better then Chu Ko Nus guys =) At least, IMHO.
