continue MadDjinn, but corrected samurai with 36 ( krikkitone ), however I don't see samurai at #2.

Jan's have great offensive capabilities, but on defense they will get mowed down. If the AI knew how to retreat units properly they wouldn't be so hot. Immortals with medic nearby and march are very good tanks.

Edit: Ok ok. I find a +2 base strength increase on a Seige unit boring, basically adds up to 1 or 2 more damage here or there. On the other hand, the Samuri base Shock I means that you can get most of your forces up to March without having to force yourself to go down Honor.

Just from personal experience, I've found difficulties using Immortals properly. Jaguars are better for super-early rush, and Legions for Classical age rushes. I tried using them one game, but once everyone bounced up to Swordsmen I was getting felled down like no man's buisness. Not to mention that they are cursory to Longswords...and early warmongering works up hate...

Also, I think Jannisaries are #1, Samuri #2, and Legions #3. Just my prediction - I've only used the middle unit extensively.

highly doubt that one. no reason they should pull ahead of chu-ko-nus

Disagree. While Legions don't keep any unique upgrade, they're a very good stand-alone unit. The Cho-Ko-Nu isn't as great as it once was, now it's best just to build a bunch and then upgrade.

Whoah, did people suddenly start voting the cossack down? It's really an excellent, underrated and underused unit that suffers from the bad reputation of its cavalry template. The cossack bonus against wounded units allows it to excel at sniping enemy artillery or finishing off wounded rifles with minimal damage, with all the mobility of cavalry. Even if they aren't top tier, they're much better than War elephants, immortals, and even legions (who are easily dominated by ranged+properly promoted swords).
