it should replace the Guerilla, then we could move the Guerilla to a later tech. That would be far more realistic.

Ok. I agree with you there. I was just thinking that if you were to have the guerilla stay in the same place, the partizan would hardly be necessary.

Actually I'd like to bump this thread myself. Somebody HAS to make the unit.

What convinced me was thinking about how this unit would look in civ. Imagine the little guy running aound with a riffle and the funny Russian hat! It'd be amazing. Plus, it could be a Russian replacement for the rifflemen, no?

That would be great, if someone made a couple variants and one could be used for a Russian Rifleman. It wouldn't have to be much different than the Partisan.

Yoda - I was thinking that it would come before the current guerilla - maybe with "Espionage", but that it could still be used alongside Riflemen or Infantry and not look out of place.

While I'm building the scenario: My Vietnam - a lightly armed asian guerilla unit is one of the few lacking.

I'd be looking for something armed with a rifle - and in 'peasant' garb - loose pants shirt and 'ricebowl' hat.

I think the Korean Leader unit - with PtW - has the right look - if only someone could put together an attack animation...

Thanks - I already have that in place - representing the NLA that infiltrated Vietnam, etc.

I'm looking for another differentiated unit to represent the guerilla forces used by the Lao Patriotic Front and Khmer Rouge...

I love it that someone sued a toy company because their 2 year old ripped open a teddy bear and crammed stuffing and choked - so now the company has to have a safety label, 'do not ingest contents of bear' - or something like that
