    Thank you very much!

But are there any alternatives for TileSet pal? I get some wierd errors whenever I try to load an image or a palette and there is not much information in Internet on this program.

I've only ever opened palettes, so I haven't encountered any issues. If you peruse the utility programs subforum someone might have posted another palette program. I'm not familiar with any others

Which units are auto-produced? Elites, Heavy Support, Superheavy, Artillery? Anything else?

Another note on my idea of Hero Units appear from Champion units. I mean this:

I stated earlier that I can get champion units but not hero unit. The matter was that I completely forgot to set cities required for 1 army to 1. I tested this again and everything worked fine. So it is possibe to spawn both Champions and Heroes from battle and let player choose between them. AI is a different matter, of course....

So a Leader can be upgraded immediately to a Champion, or turned into an "army" which can then be turned into a Hero? Nice.

If we rework the stats for heroes vs champions it could give some interesting choices for the player: do i take a psyker (not much good in combat but lethal bombardment) or commissar (excels in combat)

Exactly. I tested this with AI, and it chose Champion in all cases. But it will be fun for the player (Ai do not like ranged combat anyway and we can make late game hero-producing wonder so the AI can have them this way).

That will mean rethinking some of the hero/champion layouts. Psyker vs commissar, librarian vs chaplain, farseer vs avatar, etc. are obvious toss ups between support vs combat, but, for example, nob vs warboss will be warboss every time.

First thing that comes to mind: Weirdboy - Hero, Nob - Elite infantry for all Ork factions, Scarboy - UU for Goffs (I read that they are almost unique to Goffs). For DE, I think, we can give ability to Haemunculus to enslave Wracks/Grotesques. Something like it for Cryptec too. Etherial could be army-type unit or call airstrikes.

I was thinking the same thing but with the big mek instead, since they are more common than weirdboyz. Where would the skarboy go, do you reckon?

We can make the ethereal an army unit, boosting movement or defensive bombard or something, since their tabletop abilities can't really be represented properly in civ.

Little by little we thinning the swarm! Nice work :)

I made Despoiler default and death animations. Default with higher fps rate will be Run for now. I'll probably get a better model later anyway. The long c'n'p work is ahead and this is a little demotivating.... I had to stop the work on Idolator due to PC-issues but hope to get back to it the next year.

Skarboy can be an option of slugga or another boy like veteran units of Marines.

Here's a little something I've been working on: a Fio'La, or Tau worker and his helpful drone

Glad to see you back! Fio'la looks great. Will you make an update for Fio'O?
I will probably convert some eldar vehicles soon.

Awesome! If you haven't started animating, I reckon they could be a little closer to the ground. Just so they don't get confused with aircraft

Keeping with the Tau theme I've had of late, an Ethereal

Looks nice. What role will he perform in scenario? Etherials are not battle units, right?
