I get an errormessage whenever I try to start it saying, " failed to load python module Moon_map" or something similar, what should i do ? Btw im sure that I have unzipped it correctly pyt file is in publicmaps the other files is in the mod'sfolder.

Think this will be a great mod in time.

People arguing about how to spell with an S,C or Z you are taking it too far this is not a spelling forum? :crazyeye:
 
Check your email again guys because i think I figured the crashing part out!!!!

I just need one of you to verify before I tell others what to potentially do incorrectly. :)

Go into your Song of the Moon folder, then all the way here:

Mods\Song of the Moon\Assets\Art\interface

You'll see a 2meg dds file from 2/11/06. Delete it and tell me how the game plays. Unfortunately that is an old file and there's another one buried deeper that isn't getting used because this one's in the way!

I can almost garantee that that file was causing problem I canged it last night and it was causing problems then too.(I though I fixed it but I guess not. Did not have time to test it properly then)
 
So the fix is Delete the atlas file in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Song of the Moon\Assets\Art\interface and it works excellent find woodelf!

i made a new hut graphic that looks like wreckage and a new worked terrain graphic to be more moonish
 
I'm on turn 75 with three cities, have met four others, and am exploring the map at will. This is mind boggling how it works differently on different systems!
 
I crashed the first turn and pressed the explore automation button before it 'sploded. My score was also insanely high considering I had no city, a bit above 5000.
 
Okay, I know what the problem is for sure now(you were on the right track woodelf). I hope to have a patch and a full working version up in the next hour.
 
I reached Isolation in turn 113. Not sure if that's about right or not. :)

The techs seem to be coming fairly quickly, but that might not be a bad thing.

Though I'll agree, very nice work. I take it you're planning on changing the artwork on the units and settlements eventually (just wondering, still awesome even if you aren't)?

I know whats causing the colonist bug and tried to fix it in the patch ill post shortly may not work as I didn't have time to test it. We will also have to sacrifice our nice resourse bottons for now. It is too time consuming to fix properly now so I just did a quick fix.
