Do we have a list of any major changes made, aside from "reducing turn times by 30%, improving the combat AI, and adding new content"? I am mainly curious if there are any gameplay-altering changes, as opposed to minor tweaks (i.e. building changed from +1:gold: to +2:gold:)

Off the top of my head;

-New Trait set (see Focused Traits in the Custom Game menu)
-Captives and Slaves have been added/revamped
-Civics have been changed.
-Workers now gain XP and can get promotions.
-More buildings and Culture units have been added.

There are many more than that, but I can't remember that much detail right now. Sometime I'll make an SVN changelog archive and post it here.

No. What was provided is all you will get. Unless you want to look at the SVN and see every little change. Creating a change log causes modder burnout which affects the time it takes to acknowledge and fix problems.

That is not a problem. It took me 10 minutes to make this attached complete changelog using Tortoise.

But it is also not the change log people say they want. they don't want the modder detail. Nor do they want the executive summary provided. They want something in between that takes hours to do.

Sounds like it's mostly balancing, bug fixing, and some new content. I can't wait to see what kind of promotions you guys implemented for workers...

Oh no, I'm only looking for a high-level snapshot of what to expect. What ls612 provided (in the above quote) is exactly what I wanted. Probably should have made the thread title "v29 Summary of Changes"
