Court Writer - Orbis Mod
Awhile back I posted a graphic issue regarding XP and having most of the graphics be 'whited' out. Was there ever a resolution to that problem?
Plus either a bug or a feature I didn't know about. I found recently that even after I attacked with my 4 trebuchets, every time another unit in that stack attacks a city, those four units seem to get 'free' ranged attacks...even if they normally miss. Now I had crusaders and other 'crusader' units from the Knightly Houses in the stack so I'm not sure what is causing it.
Then two questions requests. I think the first is a BTS 'problem' but why can't you seem to vassalize your own cities? Playing the Orbis mod, for example, unless your cities are separated by a body of water, you can't. I often like to create cities to keep my own population pressures down and build them near my vassals with the intent to give them to them but often can't. Same often goes with cities I take by force. It just often seems willy-nilly which cities you can give to who when the player should have the choice.
Secondly, is there any way that perhaps there could be a sliding scale like for culture or espionage that would divert money to upgrade units? If there is one thing I have about Civ is seeing Spearmen running around when we have tanks. I would think it would be nice if upgrades where 'cheaper' if done through this system but you could still 'crash upgrade' units for more
.
Also, I still think there needs to be another economic civic between mercantilism and slavery. Also, I would think that plantations would be vulnerable to slave revolt destruction.
