Edit: Last civilization doesn't have starting position, good job.
I guess I'll just replace these human ancestors with leaders, that ruled as long ago as possible for given continental culture, just like in this thread.

So we will have following civs: China, Aborigens, Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Native Americans and Incas as example and placeholder.
I will place them comfortably far from each other, and will place starting locations at coast.

Edit: fixed map issues and replaced human ancestors with oldest civs of each culture.
Starting points were completely weird BTW.
Their location doesn't correspond real world location.
Also I uploaded player/team configuration backup.
You can change civs and move spawning points.
You can add caves and stone nearby starting positions, if these things aren't here.

I uploaded cleaned up map file, if you want you can change civ/leader types, colors and starting positions.

Worldbuilder is ancient and pukes trash in map file every time you save map.

Everytime you want to upload or play map after saving it you need to do following things:
Following line must be removed: MaxTurns=(any number)
All unit and team reveal infos needs to be removed as well.
You need to have backup of Team and Player infos too.
These tips are valid if you want to make standard scenarios.

That crap was annoying, when I made my spacemap.


You need to use the Java file WBCleaner. It does a lot of that for you. Although you still need team/player info as a backup file.

It is referenced somewhere in this thread. Try looking at RidetheSpiral23 posts.

Raxo2222, the whole point is to NOT use the normal leaders & civs. At least, that seems to be the point. I like that it uses generic civs, as having modern era, USA Civil War era, or other relatively modern civs starting in prehistoric is slightly odd. I make do with the normal C2C, but having something be slightly different is good now and then. Especially as this is a scenario, not just a map for general use.

In other words, it isn't broken, so don't "fix" it.

Also I used most ancient civs as possible.
I wanted to fix starting positions and remove units from map.
Civs and leaders I used were essentially placeholders.
Things like civics and state religion shouldn't be in map file.

In your earlier post, you are (or at least, seem to be) saying that he MUST change from using the generic civs to using specific ones. The point of this scenario is to use Wrub, not Washington. To use Sinanthropus Pekinesis, not China. Using the BtS normal civs makes this scenario less unique and less interesting. Why are you trying to ruin it?

Also, why are you insisting that the settler units be removed? If those are removed, a player will not be able to make their first settlement. That does not make sense. Why would you do that?

You probably should not just go and "fix" someone else's work without them asking you to. That is very presumptuous on your part. You are assuming that you know what they want better than they do. That is almost always a bad idea, unless you personally know the other person very, very well.

It was example on having minimalist civilization definition, also this washington example was from my space map.
I never said he has to use USA.
Also China, Inca, Native Americans, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Aborigens or their ancestors were a thing on beginning of ancient era.
Also you don't need units - they will be spawned on starting position.
There is no need for list of starting civics and state religions on game start scenario.
I edited my post #21 to be clearer, that these civs were placeholders for fixing starting positions, that spawn units.

You can change my map as you like and put it separately. The higher the variety - the better for everyone :)
That change was basically removing units, fixing starting positions, removing revealed tiles and removing civics/state religion section from player infos.
I used certain civs, as I needed placeholder.
I'll try to exactly replicate your civs and try to set starting positions where units were placed.
Basically civics, state religions, starting era (player info), units (unless you want to have them on map) and teamreveal shouldn't be defined in scenarios, that start from beginning.
Also one civ had 1600 starting gold.

Edit: If you want to have units on map, then leave them.
One of civs has starting point and units too close to natural wonder.

I didn't change starting position - hobbits should stay hobbits :)
I know it was nature wonder, but I said that was saved into file.
Also removed modified file.
You didn't uploaded updated version of it though.

Raxo2222 is correct about the South American civ. It did start the game with 1600 gold, then instantly discovered a Natural Wonder (because it started immediately next to it) and gained another 400, for a total of 2000 gold at start. While this seems like a lot, they are starting in jungle and not coastal, so with those disadvantages it might be balanced. Maybe.
 
You might want to change description:
Description= [Adjusted for 50 Civs]

Change it to:
Description= Space map with 7 Civs representing different main culture
or something like that.

Also units location doesn't correspond to starting location, for example player 0:

Starting X/Y would have to be changed to units location.

Also TeamReveal= lines should be removed - units would reveal tiles anyway.

So map file would be tidier for someone, who wanted to modify it.

I'm not ready to manually clean 176 lines yet :)
Given that they have little to do with anything.
They reveal tiles, that might be not revealed in game start.
also if you press ctrl+f then there should be option named "replace all"
Just copy TeamReveal=0, leave "replace to" section blank, and change this 0 to 1 all way to 6.

Replace "<TAB>," with empty space - there are now loose "," floating in file.

That is you didn't look too carefully at teamreveal first

I tested game and it loaded meaning it works.

When you download it, and put it in your first post, then reply here, that I can remove scenario from my post.
