Very Fast PBEM

Is there anybody intereseted in running a PBEM GMT (UK- Western Europe) 8am-5pm. I am hoping to get a few players that can play 3-5 turns a day. So you'll have to be able to check your emails all day long.

Weekdays only.

EDIT: Maybe I should expand the market. Australia is 8-11 hours different, and they have just got PTW, it would be 7pm(EST) in Oz when its 8am over here.....that would allow fro 4-5 hours to have a few turns. So the inviation now extends to my fellow country men (Any aussies out there will know what a digger is).

I was thinking 1 on 1 with 2 ai thrown in on a small map. Ai level is negotiable

It's no use. No PBEM goes at a decent rate. Firaxis never should've made this MP option.

I agree but I also disagree about PBEMs at a decent rate. I just finished my first PBEM game today. I have been playing it for 4 weeks. However, it was only a 1v1. The trick is, find 1 or 2 people max to play with that you know are dependable. Then set up some power sessions at night after work (helps to be same time zone). I have had some crappy luck, but some good luck also. You just gotta find someone that checks their e-mail or set up power sessions. I have a friend I work with that we play over LAN. We have played two games and will be starting one again next week. Those are very fun because they are pretty fast.

We always want to hear about new games, and you really shouldn't consider yourself a 'nobody', or at least no more than anyone else should do.

You should allow a few more days as PBEM's can take a little while to fill up. I have made a vow not to enter any more civ3 commitments for a while, but I wish you all the best.

Inviation is extended to Australia, has the timezone may suit mine, since most people I assume are logged on at night, whre as i'm online in the day time.
