It could be worse, if you fight the Frost Antranoch in the snow... those tears on the ground could be knocked to god-knows-where.

I think that happened to that last one. Because when i couldnt find it i resorted to a map of the tears locations. But it wasnt in any of the places indicated on the map. Heh, but as i said i found it in the end.
